Introduction
You know the worst sin in the nations, that anyone can have, is unbelief and rejection of Christ.
There are hundreds of sins, fornication, adultery, etc. You can come to the Lord Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. However, the worst sin of all is to reject the Lord Jesus as the Savior, and as the eternal God.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”Acts 4: 12
The Lord Jesus tasted death for every man (Hebrews 2: 9).
Isaiah 9: 6 calls the Lord Jesus “The mighty God” (not a mighty God, but “The” mighty God).
The Lord Jesus is also the Father. The same Isaiah 9: 6 calls Him “The everlasting Father”.
The Lord Jesus is also the Holy Spirit. In Matthew 1: 18 – 25, Joseph was told by the Angel of the Lord that what was conceived in Mary was “of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS”. Thus, the Lord Jesus that walked the streets of Galilee was the Holy Spirit in the form of flesh.
It was because the Jews rejected the fact “that Jesus was Christ”, the eternal God in flesh who died for our sins, that Paul told them he would no longer preach to them, but would henceforth preach the gospel to the Gentiles (Acts 18: 5 – 6).
There is no other God besides the Lord Jesus.
Even the devils know who the Lord Jesus truly is. James 2: 19: “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
Psalm 103: 11: For as the heaven is high above the earth, you know how high that is. They can’t even find the end of it. So great is His mercy towards them that love Him. No wonder I preach so much about His infinite heavens. Now, He comes back and said His mercy is even above all of that. It is infinite, isn’t it?
Psalm 108: 4: For Thy mercy is great. Watch His mercy, that’s what saved us all, that mercy and grace. For Thy mercy is great above the heavens. The mercy, again, is put above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
There is no end to the heavens. Yet, the mercy of God extends above the heavens. It means, if you were to measure the size of God’s mercy towards us for salvation, it will be more than trillions of light years in distance. God is bigger in size than the whole Universe, and yet, He can appear in the form of an Angel, or in the form of a man, and stand before you.
You are serving a God that’s greater than you ever realized. A greater God than this world will ever be able to see.
There is no end to this Universe. There is no end, it seems, to what they are seeing in the Universe. And people say, well, how big is God? He is bigger than that, for I am the Lord that created all things. You mean to tell me the Spirit of God is bigger than this whole Universe. Why, sure. It’s on in the inside of Him, and He is here with us right here, and He’ll get in a body and look at you, that small.
You cannot calculate how large God is out in there in physical numbers. He’s beyond physical numbers. There’s no type of physical numbers can tell you how great He is, can tell you how powerful He is, can tell you how large He is. There’s no physical numbers that can tell you that. He’s beyond the physical numbers, beyond the Universes.
Sometimes, you think in your life, you are in no win situation. That sometimes, Satan just gets ahead of you, and it seems that old Satan just gets in all on you, God is going to reverse that. If you love the Lord with all of your heart, there’ll be a reverse to it.
What will be the result of God’s mercy upon us? His mercy is to get in a seed, get in a people, get the wheat of God in, bring them in all through history, that He can have a group of people that will forever live with Him, trust Him, and obey Him.
The Lord Jesus is the Creator of all things (Colossians 1: 14 – 17; Revelation 4: 11).
Jesus, you are more than this who created all the beauty around us and the awesome heavens, universes and stars! One day beside the Holy City we will see beautiful cities and places of such wonder of thy creation! Besides the stars and heavens you have created magnificent things that we have not seen! “Beautiful colors of icy wonder like, of spiritual fires and lights of such beauty, and creatures likewise of such formation that we will be amazed and startled by such a creator of so many more things that can not be mentioned and are without number! Such glorious spiritual colors never seen or beheld by man’s eyes!”
You will be blessed.

Summary of the Sermon
We listened to a sermon titled “Mercy, Truth and Compassion”, CD # 1116, preached by Brother Neal Frisby.
In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:
You look around, you see the famines, you see wars, you see on every hand, you see disease, you see all that’s been taking place in the nations, the sickness, the hunger, the droughts, hospitals are full, mental hospitals are full, on the streets, they are full, mental people, so forth, everywhere in the nations that they look, and the people will say, what in the world is wrong.
Now, what Satan does is try and twist up the people. He tries to steal their victory, their desire to even claim there’s a God. And he goes about by revealing certain things to them. With all of this, Satan has tried to paint God as the destroyer of men. As if God done that. Unbelief done that, saith the Lord.
You know the worst sin in the nations, that anyone can have, is unbelief and rejection of Christ, and a purpose, like they rejected Him totally in there.
So, Satan is trying to paint this picture, destroyer of men. One who doesn’t care for His people, like God doesn’t care for His people. He tried to tell Job that, did it for a long time. Satan come to Job, just like he’ll come to the nations, and Job’s wife said, blame God, blame it all on Him, and so forth like that. He reveals to the world a God of no compassion. Satan tries to reveal to the people, you’ll be surprised how many people that are ready to jump on that, because of pain, suffering, so forth. Yet, they won’t make one step towards God in faith to believe that He is their Creator.
And because they reject the Creator, then they reject the assistance, and the life, and it’s amazing how that He blesses anyway, and people live, and His hand is on certain people that don’t even have God, because He’s a God of great compassion.
But the devil will try to make it look the other way. He’ll try to do that in your Christian life. He’ll try everything he can, like he did on Job, on you. But steady is the way, stay with the word, be on that Rock, on that concrete, and you’ll win, and you’ll have the victory over Satan.
Sometimes, people will say, every time I do something, it seems like I get the bitter end of it. They’ll say, I’m in no win situation. It seems like I’m attacked by the devil, or seems like somebody tells me off, by the devil, or always the devil is doing something to me.
Well, you know what, some of them that followed Paul, some of the minor disciples, and so forth like that, a few of them that had found God, so much happened to Paul that they thought, possibly there was something wrong with his doctrine, that maybe there was something wrong with Paul. This fellow here can’t go three feet without somebody beating him up, or something, over here. But you look how many times God appeared to him, and not to them.
We’re going to bring it out tonight, how that the Lord, for once in Paul’s life, what he suffered was for the New Testament word that he had to bring down, and we won’t have the churches across the world, that we have today, without the New Testament writing that Paul did, was different than anything else anybody did. He used one man, instead of two or three. And by the abundance of revelations, Paul said a thorn in the flesh, to attack me, had been given me, that Satan attacks me. So much revelations come to him to write, until God had to keep him down. He didn’t want to lose him. He wanted to keep him. And He thought that’s the best way. And with the intense pressure, that the anointing gets powerful, and the words, they are written in there, and they sting, and they are powerful. Because of the sufferings that he went through, he was able to write, and it leaves an unforgettable impression on those that love God. The Lord knows what He’s doing.
So, Satan tells them He doesn’t care anything about you, no compassion, so forth like that. He tries to tell the world that; just look at the condition, or he says He doesn’t care.
But Satan can’t stand the truth. He stayed around that throne as long as he could. Finally, he could not stand the truth, saith the Lord, any longer, and he left.
Jesus doesn’t retain anger, but for a moment. With His great compassion, every soul that gets saved, they are all clocked in time. Growing up, coming to Him, no matter what their sin is, they’ll return to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We’re having a sweeping revival, a moving one, across the face of the earth.
Psalm 103: 17: But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. See, it can’t run out. He’ll never run out of mercy. Upon them that fear Him. That fear has to be in there. But when judgment comes upon the nations, so forth, and things that happen, sometimes Satan gets by with a few things on people, so forth like that, that they’ll come. But as far as His mercy, when you clock it out, from time to time, it’s everlasting to everlasting.
Live for God with all of your heart. Never take a chance. Hold onto the Lord, believe in His salvation.
Psalm 108: 4: For Thy mercy is great. Watch His mercy, that’s what saved us all, that mercy and grace. For Thy mercy is great above the heavens. The mercy, again, is put above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. Mercy went above the heavens, the truth reach the clouds. He put it first.
Now, His truth is very important, and the truth will stand right where it stands. But His mercy is above the heavens.
The truth will get a lot of them destroyed, but His mercy steps in.
Always, we know that the truth with God, as He spoke the word, but here, that great mercy of His, it’s something that the people will never, they can’t see it. It’s hard for them to understand it, or even know about that. Love Him, love Him for His mercy, love Him for His grace, and you love Him. In the time of need, He’ll have compassion. He’ll have mercy, and He’ll move for you, or your family, or your friends, or whatever you need from Him.
My grace is sufficient for thee, Paul. And every time that he was to do something, it seemed like he was thrown in jail, or they charged upon him, and come after him. Many of his friends left him, that were supposed to be real Christians, but they couldn’t stay with him. Only Luke finally was with him for a while.
He put the word down, the one that give the foundation, the whole church system we’ve got now. The gifts of the Spirit, none other could write, the fruits of the Spirit, the five ministerial gifts, the body jointly fit together, the regular chief cornerstone where the prophets and the apostles are built upon the Lord Jesus Christ, a holy temple unto God. And he wrote all the way through there, everything that no one else could write in there, putting that church, and the organization is nowhere near the elect church he wrote about. And if he come back today, he’s liable to be whipped again if he gets in the way. He set it up in every direction.
Now, Paul was going to Athens. And he arrived in Athens, he’s waiting on Silas, and Timotheus, might have been different from Timothy. And he was waiting for them in Athens. And while he did, he looked around the city, and he was stirred; it was totally in idolatry. He evidently, as a young man, may have been there because he was raised in Greece, he was Jew, and a Roman citizen, so forth like that, because he was down there.
And he come over there, the city was given over to idolatry, and he was stirred by the power of the Holy Spirit within him while he was waiting. And he began to talk to them, and he’s seen the idolatry, and he met the philosophers.
He stood on Mar’s hill, he said, I perceive, brethren, that you’ve got a great altar, written here, and it says to the unknown God. They didn’t even know who God was. He said you are superstitious. And they said, this’ some strange, new, doctrine he was preaching to them.
So, Paul begin to tell them, he said, God that created the heavens and the earth in Christ, and so forth like that. And he began to tell them your own poets claim men the offspring from God. He said, you know better than that.
Unknown God, and Paul began to teach them the great gospel. Some of them believed on what he had to say there. But can you imagine, an altar to the unknown God? That’s the Lord Jesus Christ. A lot of them don’t know Him today. But he told them there was a real, genuine, Lord.
Then after Paul left there, he went into another place, Corinth. And when he was there, the Holy Spirit moving on him. He was trying to preach to the Jews, and they got mad. And he stirred them up; he preached the truth. And as he stirred them up, they blasphemed; all kinds of ways they went up against him.
So, finally, he just, this’ where the gospel changes, right here, this is where it’s rent, and he just took his garment, and he shook it, and he said, from henceforth, you Jews, I go to the Gentiles. And from that point on, Paul was preaching to the Gentile.
Acts 18: 9, 10, verse 17. It pleased the Lord because Paul caught that in the Holy Spirit. And here’s what the Lord says. Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision. Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set upon thee, nor shall he hurt thee, for I have much people in this city. He’s fixing to get loose now.
Every once in a while, when Paul has suffered, he just got out of jail, the Lord would appear. He kept the Apostle lifted up. He appears, showing him something. He went into third heaven, saw many different things, and its abundance of revelations the way that he wrote, the way he talked.
Fear not, Paul, again He tells him; told him on the ship, told him in different places, so, he begin to preach.
Before, it seems he had no win situation, beaten, chained, starved, left cold, everything, prison, but he was happy. He said in content. The Angel of the Lord’s with him.
He was going and preaching the gospel. Remember, one time, and what Satan was trying to do is get Paul to change some of that, to take that heat off. He didn’t change it. Organizations, the heat, they change. People get the heat on them, they change from the word. They get lukewarm, and cold, saith the Lord, and float away, and blown out. They become the chaff.
So, he was preaching, and this fellow, Sosthenes, chief ruler of the Jews, in the Temple. And Gallio, he was the deputy down there, which is like a Governor. Sometimes, you think in your life, you are in no win situation. That sometimes, Satan just gets ahead of you, and it seems that old Satan just gets in all on you, God is going to reverse that. If you love the Lord with all of your heart, there’ll be a reverse to it. You may go for a little while, then He will reverse it again. Go for a little while, and He’ll reverse it again. Paul, to his amazement, and this chief ruler of the synagogue, he kept dragging him up there, before Gallio. And Gallio told him, he said, I don’t care anything about your religious arguments, your names, your religions, and all of these things that you are arguing about with this man. You can’t leave him alone, just arguing. Paul started to say something, he couldn’t, the guy kept talking, Gallio, the ruler or the deputy Governor over that area from Rome. And he said, all you do now, if it’s a crime, or some evil or something that’s been done wrong, he said, I’ll handle it.
In verse 17, Acts 18: Then all of the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Paul was standing on the sideline, and he was in amazement. He said they are beating up the fellow that generally beats me. And the Bible said they turned on this fellow in front of Gallio, and he seat there, and he didn’t care what they did. Just don’t bring this fellow back here again. And they beat this fellow up, and it was reversed, and Paul stood there, and saw God’s great hand, and the Angel of the Lord had just appeared to Paul a few days before, said, fear not Paul, for I’m with you.
You can open your mouth here. I’ve got a lot of people in this city. I want you to really talk now. You’ve been wanting to talk, and they’ve been cutting you off. I’m going to let you talk now. At first, you know, the Lord appeared to him before, and He said, I’m with you, and no man is going to hurt you; he saw a reverse. They went to beating up the people that was after Paul. Right there, in the judgment seat.
Paul won many people. Why? Because he was determined. Because he meant what he said. And the Bible said that Paul had such a good time in that city, he had no problems, no troubles, and he stayed there for a year and six months before God moved him on.
If you know how to contact the Lord, and sometimes, you are in no win situation, you think the devil is always getting the best of you out there, or somebody is always arguing or beating you at the punch, or something like that, or sometimes, he beating you up, the old devil, so forth like that, I can tell you one thing, if you can get hold of the Lord just right, and obedience to the truth, and to His word, I can guarantee you, He’ll reverse that for you.
But the Christian, the one that stands true to that word like Paul, will become the absolute champion, the absolute winner. As Paul said, I am more than a conqueror. I can do all things through Jesus Christ that strengthens me.
Lamentations 3: 22 and 23: It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is God’s faithfulness to us.
You too, in your seat tonight, the pressure will be on you. It may come from your family, it may come from where you work, it may come from people that don’t want to hear the Lord, it may be just Satan trying to strike you with sickness, he may bring a pain to you, he may bring suffering to you, somebody may die in your family, something may happen, you never know what’s going to happen, in this world. Satan will try all manners of things.
You are serving a God that’s greater than you ever realized. A greater God than this world will ever be able to see. The people just don’t realize how the greatness, and how powerful God is. The world looks upon God as no compassion, and so forth like that, and wants to blame God, but He is full of compassion. They don’t understand just how omnipotent, and powerful, He is.
He’s larger than that, powerful than that, and He can appear an Angel or so forth like that, because that’s just set aside where He’s standing and the rest is whirling all out in the Universe and everywhere like that. The people don’t understand how magnificent and how great He is.
His mercy endureth forever. His compassion endureth forever. If it was not for the mercies of the Lord, the whole world would have been destroyed thousands of years ago.
His mercy is to get in a seed, get in a people, get the wheat of God in, bring them in all through history, that He can have a group of people that will forever live with Him, trust Him, and obey Him.
Mercy, truth, and compassion: The world can’t see it. Satan paints it in every way that he wants to, but He’s still a glorious God, and all things in providence will work out well, all faith in Him, faith in the living God.
Don’t forget, no matter what you go through, every once in a while, God will reverse it.
One part of the Scriptures says, will I find any faith on the earth when I come. He’s looking for that real, genuine, that real substance; all things are possible to him that believeth. Speak it, it will take place. Speak, and miracles all around you; sickness depart, demons depart, the power of the Lord to deliver, and to heal mental diseases, that kind of faith. Faith that delivers that word, faith that gets them ready for the translation, faith that unites them into one body, a power that they are translated in there. Will I find any faith? Sure, among the elect, that’s where the real, genuine, faith is at.
His compassion, His mercy, is above the heavens.
Besides salvation, faith in the word, nothing supersedes divine love. That will remain in that elective church. And with salvation, faith in the word, that divine love, He said, will supersede all things, and there’s what’s going to bring the glue, you might say, bring that church together. You talk about revival, you talk about power, when you get a mixture of that divine love, and that anointing in that word, with that faith in there, you’ve never seen such a feeling in your life, such a heavenly, powerful, feeling of confidence.
Scripture Reading
You know the worst sin in the nations, that anyone can have, is unbelief and rejection of Christ.
There are hundreds of sins, fornication, adultery, etc. You can come to the Lord Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. However, the worst sin of all is to reject the Lord Jesus as the Savior, and as the eternal God.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”Acts 4: 12
The Lord Jesus tasted death for every man. Hebrews 2: 9: “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”
Isaiah 9: 6 calls the Lord Jesus “The mighty God” (not a mighty God, but “The” mighty God).
The Lord Jesus is also the Father. The same Isaiah 9: 6 calls Him “The everlasting Father”.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”Isaiah 9: 6

“And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.”Acts 18: 5 – 6

“Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.”Acts 17: 22 – 23

The Lord Jesus is the Creator of all things.
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”Colossians 1: 14 – 17
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”Revelation 4: 11
I read from Scroll # 244:
BEAUTIFUL CITIES – Jesus, you are more than this who created all the beauty around us and the awesome heavens, universes and stars! Such glorious spiritual colors never seen or beheld by man’s eyes!” – Surely and definitely many marvelous mysteries await us that love Him! Literally more than trillions of creations will He unveil to His chosen! – After this was revealed to me I wondered how to unveil it and then I remembered God’s Word that could have to do with the millennium. (Luke 19: 16-19) But also may involve what was told. Nevertheless the elect are in for many surprises that eye hath not seen!
