Introduction

Now, since the throne, Satan said I will not worship God any longer. Now, that’s what was involved. I will not bow down to the most High. He said I will not receive His word, but I’ll be like the most High, and I won’t have to do this. I will be like the most High. He could no longer see eye to eye with God’s word, and neither one of them saw eye to eye, and the very fact that Satan turned negative on the word repelled him like lightning, he was gone. He caused his own expulsion. Isaiah 14: 12 – 14.

The system of this world, and the spirit of this world, will never see eye to eye with you, nor the lukewarm will ever see eye to eye with you.

The elect, and the true elect of God, cannot see eye to eye with the organized systems of this earth. They will not reveal the full word of the Lord. Theirs baptisms are wrong, the way that they see who Jesus is, is wrong, and they’ll never see eye to eye with what God is bringing on this earth through the word.

Blessed are the elect that do not see eye to eye with that old serpent, Satan. They don’t see eye to eye with him.

Satan was allowed to contest Him. And here he comes, out of curiosity to see this great One that he got mad about and jumped out. That was Jesus.

Here, they were talking along, and then Jesus begin to quote the word to Satan.

It is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God. And when Jesus brought that word, they could not see eye on eye on it is written. And when he could not see eye on eye like Jesus, Jesus stood His ground. He stood there like God. It was Satan that left.

“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, THOU SHALT WORSHIP THE LORD THY GOD, AND HIM ONLY SHALT THOU SERVE.”Matthew 4: 10

The Lord Jesus stood there in front of Satan as God because He is “The mighty God” (Isaiah 9: 6).

“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”John 7: 7

The world cannot hate you, not as an individual. It cannot hate you. But the moment that you have Christ, and the more of Christ you get, and the more power you get, then Satan singles in on Christ that is in you.

But greater is He that is within you than he’s in the world (1 John 4: 4).

You are chosen out of this world when you receive salvation (John 15: 16; John 15: 19).

The moment true salvation comes into your soul, and thereby you pass from death unto life, Satan singles in on Christ that is now in you.

Satan singles that out. He bypasses that old carnal flesh. He sees that light. He sees the salvation of the Lord. He sees one that’s chosen. He sees one that does not believe in him, and that stirs him up. He wants them to believe in him, rather than God.

Now, you live in the world, you live here, you work here, but your destiny, in home, is in heaven. And you have part of that token of the salvation, and redemption, within you.

And so, as you have the power in the salvation that’s within you, you know you are passing through here.

“And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”Romans 8: 10 – 11

Lord Jesus, we thank you that we can see eye to eye with you, and we can see eye to eye with your word. That is the reason why we will be translated. The world hates you that is in us. But, Lord, because you are in us, you shall change our bodies, and you shall take us home with you to heaven.

Summary of the Sermon

We listened to a sermon titled “The Great Struggle”, CD # 1105, preached by Brother Neal Frisby.

In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:

You know one place in the Bible, sometime it will look like conflict, and so forth, but it’s not. One place, He said Jesus came to send a fire on the earth, and then He turned around and said He didn’t. Then He said He came to send the sword, when He said He came to send peace. When He meant was, He came to bring peace, and He came to bring the Holy Spirit to the believer. But it will be a fire and a sword upon those that rejected it.

Now, the great struggle: Did you know and realize there is a great struggle? In the Bible, it brings it out right from the very beginning.

We find out that Christians today, and those that have God, they wonder why they cannot convince the world, they wonder why they cannot convince the lukewarm, about the power of God, more than they can do. Well, settle for a witness. And it just puzzles them. It will cause unbelief and doubt if you allow it to linger in your body or in your soul.

You will never change the most percentage of the world. All that you can do is plant that seed and let the Holy Spirit hover over it and hatch it. It is the Holy Spirit that comes upon them and does that.

And they wonder, today, why can’t I convince them of the supernatural power of God. Many Christians get discouraged because not everyone will listen to them. But there is a great struggle that is going on right around you, and before your eyes.

Now, people that try to do that are trying to do something that Jesus said could not be done.

And they are trying to convert the world, billions and billions of crusades. We’re going to convert the whole world. The Bible said that’s impossibility. God said it so. He knows exactly how many is on the true vine, and He knows exactly how many is on the false vine.

The great struggle: Now, it’s the age-old story. Now, since the throne, Satan said I will not worship God any longer. Now, that’s what was involved. I will not bow down to the most High. He caused his own expulsion. He was cast out. And the story begins there, the great struggles begin to take place.

We find out in the garden of Eden, when it began, God gave His word to Adam and Eve. We know there’s a great struggle going on. And then we see what happened to the fruit of it. There was Abel, and there was Cain. Now, Cain and Abel had a struggle. They could not see eye to eye. And no matter how meek and humble, no matter how that Abel had the word, and believed in the Lord, he could not get along with Cain. They could not get along. They could not see, saith the Lord, eye to eye on the word I spoke.

Abel saw eye to eye with what God spoke. No matter what it looked like, he took God’s word. And they could not see, because God spoke the word about the sacrifice, and Cain could not see the word of God. But we find out that Abel saw the word of God.

So, because of the word, there was a great struggle, because of the word that God spoke. And it cost the life of Abel. Cain turned on Abel because of the word, and destroyed him, and killed him.

At the end of the age, the beast power turns on those that believe God, and marks them, and kills them.

We find out that Abraham and Lot, was in a struggle, there’s a great struggle. And no matter which way or what, that Abraham had the word of God. And Lot, he had a lukewarm. They could not see eye to eye, and finally, they had to separate. So, Lot had to pack up. Now, notice, Lot moved away from him. Abraham stayed right there on the ground. He just moved away from him.

We find out that the Lord sat on the throne, and Satan moved away from that word. Lot, saith the Lord, moved from that word that I planted with Abraham.

They’ll move away from that word. No matter how powerful your gifts are, they’ll get away from that. There’s something about that, it’s eternal life.

And the Bible, we find out, all the way through, as you go down, they could not see eye to eye on that word. In fact, Jacob and Esau, Rebecca said, was like a struggle, a fight in the womb. They began to fight right in the womb. They couldn’t even see eye to eye before they got here. They were struggling, that’s what she said, like a war going on. Right there, God shows you the difference in those two seeds in there, in the word of God. It’s right there in the womb, they could not see eye to eye.

Joseph, his word, coming from Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph. Now, here’s a great struggle. Joseph stayed close to his father. And he had the word coming. He saw those visions and dreams, revelations from the Lord, and his brothers didn’t like the words that he received. They didn’t like the visions he received, and the brethren and Joseph could not see eye to eye now, they couldn’t.

So we find out the great struggle kept going on and on, because of the word of God.

So, people today, they’ll testify, and they’ll talk, and they don’t understand why they just can’t walk up to some of these people that are suffering in the world, some of them on narcotics, some of them are drinking, and sometimes, they won’t even listen. They can’t understand why they can’t just reach that person. They reached this person over here one time, but why they can’t. There’s a great struggle. You are doing something that Jesus said could not be done.

Although we’ll have a great, powerful, revival sweeping this planet, it will be done in God’s way, and it will be done by God’s power, and only by the Holy Spirit will be done correctly. Because, see, you’ll make wrong choices, so forth. But you must witness. See, what it does is after you’re discouraged for a while, that the world is not going to listen to you, or many people are not going to listen to you, then, it’ll discourage you from witness at all. No, just keep on witness, but don’t expect every one of them’s going to get saved. Come on, keep that witnessing up.

The devil is tricky in all that he does. And he’ll discourage you in every way that he can, from testifying about the goodness of the Lord. He will cause you to kind of sit down on Him, because, maybe, someone got a little frank with you, or somebody told you off like that, or something like that; you just hold on to that word. It happened right from the throne.

God had to put up with the same thing you did. We’re not told how long that He allowed Satan to do that, we don’t know. But He had to, the great infinite One, had to put up with some of the accusations, quit worshipping God, would not take the word of God, exactly what the world, they are refusing the word, and will not worship God, but will worship everything and anything but God.

And the Lord had to put up with that too. And the Angels saw that, but it didn’t discourage one of them. You’ve got millions of Angels on your side that are positive. You’ve got millions of saints that’ve passed on, and many saints today, and the elect, that are in the world today, millions of them that do believe the Lord.

And see, that you’re not going to convert this world, but you are going to win and testify to as many of them as you can. You are to witness to the world, but you won’t be able to save them all.

And we, as the elect of God, in our prayers, in our burdens, sometimes you say, well, I know the Lord wants me to pray, I feel something going on, something is happening all around me; it is that great struggle.

You pray for the Kingdom of God, and for the Lord to save souls, and for the Lord to move.

There’s a great struggle going on in this world out there. And every Christian should know this message. And then, you’ll not be discouraged. You’ll feel the doubt of the world trying to come at you. You’ll feel the unbelief of the world coming, in one form or another, but you’ll just hold right through.

It said here, in one of the strangest statements for the Lord to make, but He did. And He said be as wise as serpents, and be as harmless as doves among them (Mathew 10: 16).

Well, a serpent doesn’t make any sudden moves. He just, many times, just stand still. And everything is coming and going, it’s hidden. If you didn’t know it, you’ll be right there and you couldn’t even tell it. He doesn’t jump suddenly till it strikes. And he just kind of slips around on its prey and moves around.

And Jesus is saying, don’t be quick to jump into anything. Don’t be boisterous, and noisy, start arguments, and so forth like that. Just kind of slip along with God.

And when he moves, and make a racket. And he does, he rattles, he strikes. But till then, you’ll never know it. Now, be as wise as a serpent; He’s probably talking about a non-poisonous one, we don’t know. But they just kind of slither around, move around.

How many of you seeing what He’s trying to tell you? In the quietness, and power, of the salvation, there’s noise in salvation, we know that, and there’s power, but this subject that I’m talking about now is when you’re around individuals in the world, and so forth, that won’t listen to you, you’ve got to be wise. That’s what He’s talking about. You are not in church then; you don’t have 50 people who’s going to jump up and down with you. You’ve got somebody like to kill you in the next minute; see, you’d better be wise.

And the disciples later, they found out they’d thrown in jail, later they found a man had a sword at his throat, and then they learned what that Scripture meant. They’re going to slip and slide like a serpent. Then they’ll be as harmless as a dove.

A dove doesn’t strike out at anything at all. It just kind of stays within its own self, divine love; the Holy Spirit, it’s symbolic of the Holy Spirit.

And so, be as harmless, and symbolic, as the Holy Spirit; wise as a serpent, harmless as a dove out there in the world, because they don’t understand you at all, unless you slip around and become like a dove; see, you are not going to get anything but trouble out there.

Now, you are in the great struggle that’s on this earth. And somebody said, who’s going to be the winner. God’s already won. He has already won.

The world’s enmity against the Lord: The world hateth Christ because its works are evil that they are doing.

The world cannot hate you, not as an individual. It cannot hate you. But the moment that you have Christ, and the more of Christ you get, and the more power you get, then Satan singles in on Christ that is in you.

But greater is He that is within you than he’s in the world.

He turns around and he will say that they hate you, but first, you must have Christ. The world cannot hate you, but it hateth me because I testify of it, and of the evil that’s in it, with the word of God.

So, some people say, oh, they hate me. They hate Christ that is within you. Satan singles that out. He bypasses that old carnal flesh. He sees that light. He sees the salvation of the Lord. He sees one that’s chosen. He sees one that does not believe in him, and that stirs him up. He wants them to believe in him, rather than God. But a real Christian, it’s very easy to believe in God, because God has the word.

So, remember the power of the Lord. When you look at it, say, they are hating Christ that is within me.

So, remember, it is Christ that is within you. Jesus said, don’t hate you, He said, it’s me that the devil is still hating, ever since the throne.

The world cannot see or receive the Spirit of truth. Now, the world cannot receive the word or the Spirit of truth. Therefore, you cannot give it to them. All you can do is give a witness. Leave that witness there and go on.

Cain would not receive the truth from Abel. Cain would not receive the Spirit of truth. Therefore, Cain was the type of the world that’s come upon this planet. And Abel was the type of the Christian that stayed with the revelation, and although death, although that he will be slayed, he stayed right with God.

The world hateth Christ and His followers because they are chosen, and the Lord has put His hands upon them. You are chosen out of the world, and the world hateth you. Now, you are in the world, you live here, you work here, but your destiny, in home, is in heaven. And you have part of that token of the salvation, and redemption, within you. And so, as you have the power in the salvation that’s within you, you know you are passing through here.

There’ll be tests, and roadblocks, and trials, and all kind of temptations, thing will be throwed up. All these things will be around you all the time, where you work, what you are doing, the things to cause you to disbelieve in the word of God, and so forth like that. Cast it to the winds; stay with the word of God. It’s very precious indeed, and very wonderful indeed.

You are chosen out of this world when you receive salvation. God has chosen you out of there. And when He does, He give you a great thing.

I stood at the throne; Satan left. Abel stood right in the garden, but Cain got out.

Jesus, returning out of the wilderness, with the whirlwind power of God on Him, what did He do? Stopped, turned, whooped Satan. The Bible said he was standing right before Him. Satan was, in the great struggle, between God and Satan. Here was the One to make things right for ever. The One that was going to take that word and nail it right down in that foundation where Satan could never move it.

Satan was allowed to contest Him. He was whooped before he ever appeared. And here he comes, out of curiosity to see this great One that he got mad about and jumped out. That was Jesus.

Here, they were talking along, and then Jesus begin to quote the word to Satan. He took Him up on the pinnacle; he took Him in another dimension; he showed Him all these things. He could have told him that won’t be possible if I hadn’t let you do it in the first place.

And then Jesus, here’s what happens: Satan came, but Jesus, now as a master preacher on that word, not taking His eyes off Satan for one moment, right there with him, and Jesus said, Satan, here comes the word, here comes the rocket at you: It is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God. And when Jesus brought that word, they could not see eye on eye on it is written. And when he could not see eye on eye like Jesus, Jesus stood His ground. He stood there like God. It was Satan that left.

In the world, you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. I’ll be standing with you.

The disciples are not of this world, as Christ is not of this world. The system of this world, and the spirit of this world, will never see eye to eye with you, nor the lukewarm will ever see eye to eye with you. But what you do is understand this: There is a great struggle, a very powerful great struggle, going on for the truth right now. It is in the world.

And if you are ever in prayer, you’ll see sometimes, God will reveal that great struggle that we are in upon this earth. But because Jesus has given us the victory, because Jesus has already won the victory, because Satan has already been judged and cast out, and the prince of this world has been thrown out, only who he can bluff and deceive, God has given us the faith, God has given us the victory, we are the winner, we are the conqueror.

In every situation, no matter what kind of situation, each one of you, are in that audience, you are the victor. It’s when you go to being negative, you go to looking at the circumstances, you go to complaining how miserable that you are, you’re a failure, that you can’t do anything, that’s when you begin to lose, but I can do all these things through Christ that strengthens me.

When Paul got into those situations, those were the exclamations that he would say I’m more than a conqueror.

The elect, the true elect, at the end of the age, and I might say this, when Jesus met Satan, that was the perfect example of that struggle. But when the word was brought forth, they didn’t see eye to eye. At that point, he left Him.

The elect, at the end of the age, there’ll finally be a separation. The elect, and the true elect of God, cannot see eye to eye with the organized systems of this earth. They will not reveal the full word of the Lord. Theirs baptisms are wrong, the way that they see who Jesus is, is wrong, and they’ll never see eye to eye with what God is bringing on this earth through the word. It is because they have left out part of the word of God. If you start leaving a little here, and a little there, and a little here, and a little there out, pretty soon, you’re left out.

I’ve had opportunity after opportunity to join up with these systems to make them one more large thing, one more large deal, and lose my ministry too if I ever did, to join up with those systems, to join up with those Pentecostal systems, to come into their fold, to take their name and their banner, to come up under there, and to leave everything over into Satan, and to do that with them. I will never see eye to eye with them.

I’ve had the largest Pentecostal movement, the President of that movement at that time, about 8 or 9 years ago, wrote me a letter, and said, well, won’t you just let us put your church name in our national book, so that the people that visit Arizona can come through and see the building. And let us put it in the national list. If they put my name in their national book all over the east coast, they are worldwide, and they are largest Pentecostal group there is, on the earth, as far as churches are concerned and people. If I had done that, I belong to them indirectly. So, I told the fella, No. I never heard any more out of him. But the thing is this, I agree only with God, and the word of the Lord.

Then the Bible said in Revelation chapter 17 and Revelation chapter 3, that they are judged. It says they are judged. Revelation 17 shows you the great organized systems of this whole earth, called mystery Babylon. Revelation chapter 3 shows you the rest of the protestant systems upon this earth, are called Laodiceans, mixed up with them, and it shows a great judgment upon that system with millions fleeing into the wilderness, trying to get hold of God when the mark of the beast is given. It’ll come out of government religious system upon this earth, is where it comes from.

Blessed are the elect that do not see eye to eye with that old serpent, Satan. They don’t see eye to eye with him.

So, remember, the world’s animosity is against the Lord Jesus, and it’s not really against you, but it’s against the Lord Jesus that’s in you.

It reminds us that the Lord Jesus is the sacrifice for our sins. He has paid the price for our salvation.

“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.”Isaiah 53: 3 – 7

The deep things of God are a mystery, but are revealed unto His elect! … “Behold saith the living God, without faith and knowledge of My Word he cannot attain unto such wonders! Have ye not heard that only Mine elect and those who have died in the faith shall hear My voice and meet Me in the air and the others upon the earth shall not! – It is because I foreknow you, and ye shall hear My voice!”

Lord Jesus, we thank you that we can see eye to eye with you, and we can see eye to eye with your word. That is the reason why we will be translated. The world hates you that is in us. But, Lord, because you are in us, you shall change our bodies, and you shall take us home with you to heaven.
