Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, October 30, 2022

Introduction:  Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, October 30, 2022

This sermon talks about letting the word of God sink into your soul, that is when faith becomes the evidence of things not seen.

The Lord Jesus “carried away your hopelessness and took it upon Himself.  He carried away your sins and put it upon Himself and He bared those sins and took them away.  He carried your troubles away.  He carries your sickness.  He carried away your anxieties, your problems and your troubles.”

If you accept salvation, you have passed from death unto life (John 5: 24).

When you receive salvation, there is a burden that is lifted; you are a new creature; the sting of death is gone.

O death, where is thy sting?  Salvation has taken it away.  The sting of death is sin, and if sin is taken away, the sting of death is gone.

You are now an overcomer in the Lord Jesus because “Salvation gets rid of the sting of death.  Salvation gives you victory over the grave.”

Revelation 3: 21:   “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne”.

Revelation 21: 7:  “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

Substance you already have, things hoped for.  The evidence of things not seen – there is where it drops into the heart and there is where the miracle takes place.

You confess in your mouth, you believe in your heart.  You believe in the heart, that means that you believe in the soul.  You believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit.  The heart is only a symbolic.  It is actually in the soul where the evidence of things not seen originate.  Glory to God.

Romans 8: 1 – 2: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

The Lord Jesus will appear in various forms throughout eternity, but in this one instance, (Rev. 3: 4)  “And they shall walk with Me in white!”, we shall be dressed in white just like Him.  What a gracious God.

You will be there in heaven joining the Angels in worshipping the Lord.

Revelation 4: 11:  “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:  for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

You will be blessed.

Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, October 30, 2022

We listened to a sermon titled “Positive Confession”,CD # 942A, preached by Brother Neal Frisby.

In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:

It is good to imagine about heaven and about the things that are in heaven, but if you just imagine that there is a heaven, that won’t work.  But in your heart, you know there is a heaven and then it works.  It is a reality; it is not an imagination.  Amen.  Then you can imagine about the things in heaven, but you must first believe in your heart the real facts and confess in your heart that He has built many mansions for us and believe it in your heart.  By your own confession, you will begin to even feel some of the things there.

Matthew 8: 17:  “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES, AND BARE OUR SICKNESSES.”

He carried away anything and everything that trouble you today.

He carried away our despair.

He carried away our infirmities (tests, trials, problems and all the things, despair that goes with them).

He carried away your hopelessness and took it upon Himself.

He carried away your sins and put it upon Himself and He bared those sins and took them away.

He carried your troubles away.

He carries your sickness.

He carried away your debts.  If you confess prosperity Scriptures enough in your soul and heart, then you will get out of debt and God will prosper you.

He carried away your anxieties, your problems and your troubles.

Rejoice, He said.  If you love me, you will rejoice.  That’s as plain as He put it in the Bible.

If we love Jesus, that alone, the love of the Lord Jesus will bring a rejoicing in the heart.

Confess the joy of the Lord.  Confess the Scriptures of the Lord.

If you are confessing what God is doing for you, and you confess who the Lord Jesus is, and how much power that He has given you, then when you come to church, you help somebody because you are a positive and that is Thus saith the Lord, and the way the Scriptures read, saith the living God.

You confess the Word; don’t confess your feelings.

Confess the Word and the promises of the Lord that delivers.  He, Himself, carried all of these things away that Satan tries to make you think are still there.  So, your strength is renewed even daily.

Build up your substance within you, saith the Lord.  Then it will become the evidence and after that you have a miracle.

Romans 10: 6 – 11:  “But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, SAY NOT IN THINE HEART, WHO SHALL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, WHO SHALL DESCEND INTO THE DEEP? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it?  THE WORD IS NIGH THEE, EVEN IN THY MOUTH, AND IN THY HEART:  that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt  confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the scripture saith, WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED.”

Don’t ever allow bitterness to get into your soul because it will create a negative feeling.  You have to have a forgiving heart.  Get the bitterness out, no matter how hard it is.

The Bible says you can confess and he shall have whatsoever he saith, by the very confession in your heart and in your mouth.

Faith is a substance of things hoped for.  Now, you have the substance within you and hoped for.  Then when it becomes the evidence within you, of things not seen, then another dimension takes place.

Substance you already have, things hoped for.  The evidence of things not seen – there is where it drops into the heart and there is where the miracle takes place.

Jesus’ words do not say that you are sick.  But Jesus’ words say that thou art healed, go thy way.

The Word says you are healed, you are saved, confess it in your heart.

You confess in your mouth, you believe in your heart.  You believe in the heart, that means that you believe in the soul.  You believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit.  The heart is only a symbolic.  It is actually in the soul where the evidence of things not seen originate.  Glory to God.

Faith is a substance, you have that, of things hoped for.  It is the evidence of things not seen.

Allow your substance to become the evidence, allow it to activate and He will bring these things to you.  So, you are what you confess.

When you confess the promises of God, confessing in the soul, in the heart and believing in the heart, as you begin to believe, and that substance then will become the evidence.  Glory to God.

I am going to confess with my mouth the great promises.  And I am going to claim and confess all the promises in the Bible for any kind of a problem.

You confess what the Lord says, and He tells the truth.

He says you are delivered; He says you are saved.  Now you believe that.  And that light is already there, will light up more and bring whatsoever you saith.  Amen.

Now, when you get into whatsoever you saith, that substance is changing into evidence of things not seen.  Amen.

I started the sermon:

He carried away your hopelessness and took it upon Himself.

He carried away your sins and put it upon Himself and He bared those sins and took them away.

He carried your troubles away.

He carries your sickness.

He carried away your anxieties, your problems and your troubles.

The Lord Jesus has carried away your hopelessness; He has carried away your sins and you no longer have them.

In the Sermon:  “Before Time”, CD # 1040, Brother Neal Frisby stated:

If you accept salvation, you have passed from death unto life (John 5: 24).

When you receive salvation, there is a burden that is lifted; you are a new creature; the sting of death is gone.

It is easier for you to pass on to heaven at the time of death, than sometimes for you to fall asleep on your bed.

O death, where is thy sting?  Salvation has taken it away.  The sting of death is sin, and if sin is taken away, the sting of death is gone.

O grave, where is thy victory?  You have victory over the grave because of salvation.

1 Corinthians 15: 55 – 57:  “O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

When you receive salvation in your heart, you get rid of that death sting.

But the sinner has the sting of death on him when he leaves; the grave has complete victory over him.

Salvation gets rid of the sting of death.  Salvation gives you victory over the grave.

He shall not perish, but shall be raised at the last day (John 6: 40).  Your body will be glorified (1 Corinthians 15: 54).

How great salvation is.

The predestinated of God will want salvation, the sting of death is gone. They will believe His word and will live with Him for eternity.

The grave does not have power over you; the sting of death does not have any power over you.

You are now an overcomer in the Lord Jesus because “Salvation gets rid of the sting of death.  Salvation gives you victory over the grave.”

There are Scriptures for the overcomer.

Revelation 2: 7:  “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

Revelation 2: 17:  “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”

The hidden manna is more revelation of the Lord Jesus.

Revelation 3: 12:  “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out”.

A pillar in the temple of God means you will be there in heaven in His temple.

Revelation 3: 21:   “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne”.

You will sit with the eternal God, next to Him, on His throne.

Revelation 21: 7:  “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

You confess in your mouth, you believe in your heart.  You believe in the heart, that means that you believe in the soul.  You believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit.  The heart is only a symbolic.  It is actually in the soul where the evidence of things not seen originate.  Glory to God.

When you confess the promises of God, confessing in the soul, in the heart and believing in the heart, as you begin to believe, and that substance then will become the evidence.  Glory to God.

You do not care what anyone else says about the Scriptures.  You believe the Scriptures because they have now dropped into your soul.

Romans 8: 1 – 2: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

There is therefore now (at this moment, not tomorrow, not next week) no condemnation to you because you are in Christ Jesus.  You do not walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit because “the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus” has made you “free from the law of sin and death.”

Romans 6: 1 – 2: “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.  How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”

You are now in Christ Jesus; you are not going to continue in sin.  “Salvation has taken it away.  The sting of death is sin, and if sin is taken away, the sting of death is gone.”

Ephesians 2: 1 – 3:  “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

It was in time past that you “were” dead in trespasses and sins, that you “walked” according to the course of this world, that you “were” by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  You are no longer continuing in sin because the Lord Jesus “carried away your sins and put it upon Himself and He bared those sins and took them away.”

Colossians 3: 5 – 16:  “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:  For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:  In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.  But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.  Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put  off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free:  but Christ is all, and in all.  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:  even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

We are no longer “children of disobedience”.  We are now “the elect of God”.

If you are confessing what God is doing for you, and you confess who the Lord Jesus is, and how much power that He has given you, then when you come to church, you help somebody because you are a positive and that is Thus saith the Lord, and the way the Scriptures read, saith the living God.

When we come to church, we should be believing all Scriptures.  Then we honor the Almighty God.

Galatians 2: 20:  “I am crucified with Christ:  nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:  and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

The Lord Jesus keeps me saved every day because “the life which I now live in the flesh”, daily, I live by His faith.

1 John 3: 2:  “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Now are we the sons of God.  The issue is not whether we will appear when the Lord comes back.  The issue is how we shall be when He appears.  The answer is “we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Colossians 3: 4:  “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”

I read from Scroll # 43:

THE GLISTENING WHITE GARMENTS – WE SHALL BE DRESSED LIKE HIM! – Now in all history most Leaders dress differently then their people under them.  But at this particular time we shall be dressed in White like unto Him!  Only the Great Lord Jesus would consider and do a thing like this, to be like His people!  Although the Lord does and can appear in various forms “at this particular time He will be like this”.  (Rev. 3: 4)  “And they shall walk with Me in white!”

The Lord Jesus will appear in various forms throughout eternity, but in this one instance, we shall be dressed in white just like Him.  What a gracious God.

You will be there in heaven joining the Angels in worshipping the Lord.

Revelation 4: 11:  “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:  for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
