Introduction: Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, December 3, 2023 Isaiah 30: 33: “For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.” Tophet in the Old Testament is the lake of fire. “the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it” in the lake of fire. But Tophet in the Old Testament is Gehenna in the New Testament, the lake of fire. Here, God’s breath kindles it, it says, like a stream and blows in Tophet and keeps the fire kindled in there. That breath reminds them, they are in remorse. It must bring disappointment to hear that breath as it blows in there, once in a while, and rekindles that. You see, they turned down that breath of life. What blesses us, just a little breath of that torments them. We want the breath of life, that is the Lord Jesus Christ. If you make an effort in your heart to believe Him, in your heart, and believe in His power, you will never see that place, and I will confirm it saith the Lord, ye shall never see that place. Believe in my word and what I have spoken and ye shall never have to go onto that place, but ye shall be with me always, eternally. 1 Timothy 6: 16: “Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.” There is a place that not even those people or you people or any people or any Angel or any demon or any person or any elect or anybody else, there is a place where no one can go. And that’s when God is alone with Himself. And there, none’s there. That is a place that no man can approach for there is the very essence of the creative power. There is when He is the devouring fire where He is at. And it says no man can approach, but then He breaks that down and comes to us where we can feel and talk and be with Him and all of that. When the Lord is creating, He is in a form that no one can approach Him. The Lord then appears in a lesser form for us and the Angels to see Him in different dimensions. It means when we, as in Isiaah 6: 1, or the Angels see the eternal God, He is already in a step-down form from when He is creating. Hebrews 2: 9: “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” It means when the Lord Jesus was made a little lower than the Angels to come and die for our sins, that was another step-down form for Him. You want to worship our Lord Jesus Christ. You are looking at the Almighty God who was in at least two step-downs form from when He is creating. Isaiah 9: 6 calls Him “The mighty God”. John 1: 10 states: “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”
You will be blessed. Josephus Oluwatoyin Thomas
Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, December 3, 2023 We listened to a sermon titled “Explaining Words”, CD # 1012, Part One, preached by Brother Neal Frisby. In the sermon, Brother Frisby said: God reveals His secrets of wisdom to us today. Amos 3: 7: “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” God first reveals His plans to His servants, first, to no one else, but to His servants. They are called the prophets. The Scripture is saying, that don’t mean, that He can’t appear and reveal certain things to the Saints, but if it’s a major revelation or if it is something to do with the greatness of God’s power coming to His people in such a way, He will move and He will have it revealed through revelations. But He does reveal first His great plans, His secret plans. Secret means a circle. It means something hidden, until it’s otherwise, is revealed. But it means circle, a mystery, just going around like that. And we want to keep Satan going in a circle himself. But he cannot get into the circle of God. Secret means circle. And it pictures the believers circled around God, and I revelate, tied to the Infinite. Tied to the Infinite in that circle where there is a hedge. Satan cannot break through that hedge. Where the power of faith is a wall, where it becomes a shield, a flame and a fire about it. A circle of people tied to the Infinite. If you are not tied for the Infinite, you don’t have salvation like you should. You don’t have the power of the Holy Spirit like you should. So we find out, it’s tied to the Infinite. Circle around God, conversing with Him. It can also mean a time to establish purpose. A further meaning is an intimate conversation with God, only between you and the Lord, such as our prayer time with God. Now, the Lord lives in secret and many of the prophets didn’t know exactly where He lives. He has many places, but He has secret places. In the Old Testament, He said His name is secret. If He revealed a certain way, they wouldn’t know exactly what it was, for His name was secret in the Old Testament. Then Jesus revealed it as wonderful, the mighty God, the Savior. From the word secret, comes from the circle, around, the hidden meaning. Joy: I will sing joyful song to my God (Psalm 100). Exalt ye to praise God joyfully. Joy is a quality of pure happiness. Your source of great delight. The word means to move in a circle also, but different than the other, as to make motion, to dance. It also means to leap for joy or to move around in the presence of God when He moves upon you. Remember Jesus said to leap for joy (Luke 6: 23). Remember Miriam, they crossed the river, when they got across there, how they circled and she beat the tambourine, was praising the Lord (Exodus 15: 20). It brings the joy of the Lord. The Psalm reveals that God’s goodness gives you joy. Joy is the essence of God’s nature. And I passeth through them and they know not, with joy, with peace. The essence of God’s nature, which you should ask each day, to be joyful. The very essence of God’s nature is joy to His Saints, but it may be indignation to the world later, but it is joy to His Saints. Your soul prospers, and prospers even as your soul prospers. Psalm 1 reveals how to be blessed or how not to be blessed. The word blessed has many colorful meanings. One, it means happy. It means straight. If you are straight with God, He is automatically straight with you. He’s straight to begin with, saith the Lord. It means to advance or to prosper. It means to connect with divinity. That’s what Jacob did. He connected with divinity. That’s what Joseph did when he touched everything, that he touched; he is connected with divinity. It means also to receive good fortune, whether it is spiritual or materially. The word blessed is never used in a singular sense for God’s blessings are always plural. When you have one, you have the other. You have spiritual, you have the other. Called from darkness into God’s marvelous light (1 Peter 2: 9). God often gives second chances. He came to Jonah a second time, telling him to preach to Nineveh (Jonah 3: 1 – 2). Jesus does not cast away failures, not easily. He rescues them. Peter was a failure walking on the water, but He rescued him (Matthew 14: 29 – 31). And Satan, seeing to want to cut him like sift, just sift him right straight through, but the Lord prayed for him (Luke 22: 31 – 32). He prayed for the disciples, that they fail not. Everyone of them looked like a failure when they come and get Jesus and took Him away until after the resurrection and then He came to them in the power of the Spirit. The word fail means the light is out. If you fail, God’s word cannot fail. You may fail at some things, you may not do some things just exactly right, but I can tell you, like I always preached, His word will never fail you, you go right back to it. There’ll be a place in that word you’ll find that will help you. But you adhere to that word, stay with that word, He’ll pull you out of whatever is. So, God’s word cannot fail and it will rekindle your life and set it on fire once again. Have you felt like a failure? Take heart; God wants to pick you up again. He will light you up. The fruit of the Spirit in you are the attributes of Christ Himself. You have received love that gives without expecting back and can stand alone. No matter what is said, it will stay with God, it will stand with God. Love is remarkable and it gives you a quality that produces eternal life. And it will produce that translation. And that love will reach out with faith and it will have great power added to it. Love brings most a list of things. It will do many things, suffers long, stands alone, stands with God. Joy that brings strength. Did you know that shouting the victory, joy in your heart during the day, will absolutely begin to bring strength spiritually and strength physically to that body? Peace, to live a life at its best, for God and for yourself. Longsuffering is for victory. If you know how to hold onto longsuffering, and you hold on, the very gift of faith will go to working for you. Sometimes is long term; it can work short term. But longsuffering promotes the victory. Gentleness, which is kindness. Your gentleness is a form of kindness that comes forth. Goodness produces generosity. Faith is the key that is tied to faithfulness. And without faith, how far are you going to get with any of these? You have to have faith and then that divine love sets in according to your faith and according to how it works for you. Enoch walked with God and He translated him because of his faith and he was in continually faith fellowship with God. He just talked to Him all the time. He was in a circle with Him, conversing. He knew the secrets of God. He knew God and what the Lord was going to do way ahead of Noah. He knew exactly what’s going to happen at the end of the world for he prophesied and said I saw the Lord coming, in the book of Jude they re-wrote it, with ten thousands and ten thousands of His Saints at the end of the age. Christ coming, even after the battle of Armageddon, he saw Him coming again with His Saints, because He already got them (Jude 1: 14). Faith is the key to the translation. It is the key to healing, the key to salvation. It is the key of your life and will work all these doors that we are talking about as God passes through us. Meekness: To control your spirit, try meekness. Temperance: Which is moderation. Temperance is one of the fruits of the Spirit from faithfulness. Temperance, moderation, meaning to balance out that Christian life, balance out the way. If it’s not coming, if it’s far out of one line with the world, or your testimony out of line in one way, temperance will balance those things out. It will balance out what you eat too. It will balance out how to use your knowledge and how to use your wisdom and it will balance out your financial matters. It will balance you out on the job. It will balance you out with God. And when you are balanced out with Him, you are in a good place. Hidden life: My life is hidden with Christ, my life is hidden in God (Colossians 3: 3). Acts is a book of the life and power given by the Spirit; not a new theme by any means. The Spirit breathed life into creation in Genesis 1. The Spirit breathed life into everything that moved and everything that walked. For the Spirit means Ruha, Elohim or the breath of God that can be by fire, living things, the breath of God. 2 Timothy 3: 16: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”. All Scripture is inspired, or God breathed, as they wrote. No wonder Jesus could say these words I speak are Spirit, they are life (John 6: 63). God’s breath is going through me. His Spirit is life to His Saints. The breath of life breathed. We have salvation in the degrees of that breath, healing, power, translation, whatever, is all in that breath. That is the living life, but unto the lost, let’s see what happens here. The breath of God and how it blows and comforts His people and saves, joy and all these things we spoke about. Isaiah 30: 33: “For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.” Tophet in the Old Testament is the lake of fire. “the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it” in the lake of fire. See, there is something that goes into that, tributaries and what we have is the breath of life, but every once in a while, it said the breath of God blows in Tophet and kindles the fire. And oh my, at the remorse when they hear it. David said where can you flee from and hide from God. In hell, in sea, in heaven, where can you run from Him? But Tophet in the Old Testament is Gehenna in the New Testament, the lake of fire. Here, God’s breath kindles it, it says, like a stream and blows in Tophet and keeps the fire kindled in there. That breath reminds them, they are in remorse. It must bring disappointment to hear that breath as it blows in there, once in a while, and rekindles that. You see, they turned down that breath of life and He sound like a broken record for 6,000 years, telling them to receive it, receive ye the Lord, receive the Spirit, receive the Spirit. And they told the Lord they did not want His preachers, they did not want His prophets, they did not want His messengers. In fact, they said, we do not want eternal life. And so, they rejected the breath of life and so, as it reads, the breath of the Lord like a stream of brimstone doth kindle it. We are getting in some deep revelations which I always knew. In that lake of fire, something to do with the Lord. What blesses us, just a little breath of that torments them. And in heaven, they couldn’t stand it at all. On that Scroll # 117, is God moving on further than what was seen. Meaning that the bottomless pit, hades, the holding place, Tartarus, another place, and all of those places, and those pits and those dark places, is tributaries that runs into the lake of fire because a lake comes out of where there are streams, but here is the answer to that, it said His breath goes into the lake of fire, Tophet, and rekindles it like a stream. His breath goeth through there. So we find out, we want Ruha, Elohim, the breath of God, and in that breath that breathed into creation. We want the breath of life, that is the Lord Jesus Christ. One thing it brings out is that God blows in that place where that breath and that Antichrist in Chapter 19. After all of the books are opened and they cast in there. It says every once in a while, God blows like a stream and His breath kindles it again in there and it reminds them of the great Creator. So, the breath they turned down has become torment, but we do know that the rest of that is, is disappointing and remorse; it must be. To see how God’s warn, and all of His divine that He has. No one knows exactly what all will take place where He’s at. I know one thing, stay away from Tophet, that is the word that matches Gehenna in the New Testament, lake of fire. So we find out, the nostrils of God blowing stream and here He comes with fire in His tongue that finally ends in the breath of fire. God has a place prepared for His people. And wherever and whatever the lost, as we warn them go, that is left up to the Almighty and all of His divine wisdom, and what He has to do is left to Him. What blessed us will not bless them. We know He will be in the rest of the creation with His people. There is a place that not even those people or you people or any people or any angel or any demon or any person or any elect or anybody else, there is a place where no one can go. But, I am glad He’s got a place that no man can approach. He wants to be alone with all His great powers and what He’s going to bring forth next. And He will bring it forth. In Revelation 19, there is where the Antichrist is cast into Tophel, into the lake of fire. That is why that word is so important. Nothing hurts Him any worse than somebody to fool with that word. Leave that alone. That is the breath of God that put that there. Because at the end, in those different holding places, that is where it all goes over into there, into that Tophet, the lake of fire.
I started the sermon: All Scripture is inspired, or God breathed, as they wrote. No wonder Jesus could say these words I speak are Spirit, they are life (John 6: 63). The breath of life breathed. We have salvation in the degrees of that breath, healing, power, translation, whatever, is all in that breath. But Tophet in the Old Testament is Gehenna in the New Testament, the lake of fire. His breath goeth through there. Because at the end, in those different holding places, that is where it all goes over into there, into that Tophet, the lake of fire. The antichrist (beast) and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 19: 20). The devil is cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20: 10). Principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6: 12) are cast into the lake of fire. All those who do not accept the gift of eternal life, when they die, go to hell (hades) where there is torment (Luke 16: 19 – 31). Finally, these people are also cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20: 11 – 15). That is why you want to come to salvation while you are still alive. Otherwise, you will find yourself in the lake of fire where the breath of God blows at different times and rekindles the fire. You will have remorse when you hear that breath of God blow in the lake of fire. It will remind you of the great Creator who became a human being to die for our sins. That is why that word is so important. There is when He is the devouring fire where He is at. And it says no man can approach, but then He breaks that down and comes to us where we can feel and talk and be with Him and all of that. In the sermon titled “Supernatural Presence”, CD # 949 B, Brother Neal Frisby stated: When the Lord is creating, He is in a form that no one can approach Him. The Lord then appears in a lesser form for us and the Angels to see Him in different dimensions. It means when we, as in Isiaah 6: 1, or the Angels see the eternal God, He is already in a step-down form from when He is creating.
