Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, March 7, 2021

Introduction:  Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, March 7, 2021

This sermon talks about the fact that the Lord God has tasted death for every man; He conquered physical death so that we can live with Him for eternity (Hebrews 2: 9).  We will see it come to pass when our bodies are changed on the day of translation – when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality (1 Corinthians 15: 51 -58).

Each one of us was created by the Lord to report back to Him (Colossians 1: 14 -17; Romans 11: 36).

We do not have the right words on this earth to fully describe the Lord, His love, His power, His majesty and how great He is.

When you leave this earth, either through death or if alive at the time of translation, the Lord will be waiting for you because His very life is your life; you have His eternal life.

Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, March 7, 2021

We listened to a sermon titled “The Miraculous Word”, CD # 2169, preached by Brother Neal Frisby on 9/14/86 (PM).

In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:

You must be serious in your heart with the Lord if you want a healing.

There cannot be a miracle without expectation.

The Lord created you and brought you to this earth at this time, not 1,000 years ago.

Approach the Lord with kindness and divine love.

God’s word is miraculous and it brings healing, joy, health, sound mind, salvation, eternal life and miraculous power.

Jesus went about healing and doing good.

Delight thyself in the Lord; be in a happy agreement with the Lord.

Matthew 21: 22:  “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

Whatsoever you shall ask in the name of Jesus, you shall receive.  You ask in the name of Jesus.  Titles are okay, but the name of God is Jesus.

All promises of God are yea and Amen.

Speak the word only.

All things are possible to him that believeth.

In the evening time they brought the sick to Jesus and He healed them.

These signs shall follow them that believe.

The Lord loves you more than you love Him.

Each person has a measure of faith; believe Him and praise Him.

What the Lord will do at the end will be so supernatural that we will receive translative faith and our bodies will be changed.

Brother Frisby then had a prayer and testimony line.

I started the sermon:

Hebrews 9: 27:  “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”.

When you reach the age of 80s or 90s, if not earlier in your life, it will begin to dawn very much on you that you will soon be leaving this earth.  You will soon be going to meet your maker.

Psalm 90: 10:  “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

This Scripture reminds us of the average age of 70 years, and if the Lord allows you to reach 80 years, you will soon depart from this earth to meet your maker – “for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

1 Corinthians 15: 26:  “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”

This Scripture brings out the fact that the last enemy to be conquered for a child of God is physical death, but the Lord Jesus has already paid the price to destroy it.  We will see it come to pass when our bodies are glorified on the day of translation and we shall live with Him for eternity.

Hebrews 2: 9:  “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”

The Lord God Himself came as Jesus.  Isaiah 9: 6 states:  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:  and the government shall be upon his shoulder:  and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Hebrews 2: 9 that we just read tells us that the Most High God made Himself lower than the Angels that He had created.  Why did the Lord make Himself lower than the Angels?  The answer is:  “that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”  The Lord God tasted death for every man that He might conquer physical death so that we can be with Him for eternity.  This Scripture states:  “for every man.”  It means the Lord has provided salvation for every person – it does not matter your nationality.  We can preach this gospel to every person on this earth.

You will notice it also states:  “that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”  The “grace of God” mentioned in this Scripture reminds us of Ephesians 2: 8 which states:  “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”.  The grace of God offers salvation to all of us because the Lord Jesus tasted “death for every man” on the cross.  He paid the price.  By believing what the Lord Jesus has done for us, we have eternal life through Him.

1 Corinthians 15: 51 -58:  “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

At the time of translation, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be changed.  This Scripture states:  “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”  You will notice it states:  “must” put on incorruption; “must” put on immortality.  It is a “must” because the Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ, has already paid the price for our change – to have an eternal body, because He has tasted “death for every man.”

Indeed, we will be able to say:  “O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?”  We will see the victory over physical death on the day of translation when “this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”  That is why physical death is the last enemy to be destroyed because we will only see it come to pass on the day of translation.

This Scripture further states:  “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

We can preach this gospel, “always abounding in the work of the Lord”, knowing that our “labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Each one of us was created by the Lord to report back to Him.

Colossians 1: 14 -17:  “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”

The Lord Jesus has created everything; “all things were created by him, and for him”.  He created all things for himself.  We will all report back to Him.

Romans 11: 36:   “For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things:  to whom be glory for ever.  Amen.”  This Scripture states all things are “to him”.  It again shows all things will report back to Him.

The Lord sees all things that He has created.

Hebrews 4: 13:  “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight:  but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”  This Scripture states:  “all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”  Nothing is hidden from the most High God “with whom we have to do.”

In this life, no matter your situation at any time, no matter whether someone annoys you or what someone may say or do against you, just remind yourself that there is someone you will be reporting to.  Everyone on this earth will be reporting to the Almighty God, the Lord Jesus.

Let the fact that you will be reporting to the Lord God create fear in your heart towards Him.

Psalm 33: 8:  “Let all the earth fear the LORD:  let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.”

Psalm 34: 9:  “O fear the LORD, ye his saints:  for there is no want to them that fear him.”

Psalm 111: 10 states:  “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom”.

We do not have the right words on this earth to fully describe the Lord, His love, His power, His majesty and how great He is.

Matthew 28: 18:  “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

We do not have the words on this earth to fully describe all the power given to the Lord on this earth and in heaven.

We do not have the ability on this earth to fully worship the Lord the way He should be worshipped.  Even in heaven, we will want to worship the Lord continuously as we learn more about Him and come to appreciate Him the more.

Revelation 4: 8 – 11:  “And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within:  and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.  And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:  for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

The four beasts did not find it difficult to continuously worship the Lord.  The twentyfour elders were willing to fall down and cast their crowns before the Lord and worship Him saying:  “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:  for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Revelation 5: 11 – 14“And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:  and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.   And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.  And the four beasts said, Amen.  And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped him that liveth for ever and ever.”

There was an awe of the presence of the Lord that caused millions and millions of Angels and every creature to say:  “Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”

We cannot comprehend in this world what the Lord has prepared for us and waiting for us in heaven.

I Corinthians 2: 9:  “But as it is written, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NEITHER HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN, THE THINGS WHICH GOD HATH PREPARED FOR THEM THAT LOVE HIM.”

How can you describe in earthly words the things which your eyes have not seen, which your ears have not heard and which have not entered into your heart?  That is why we do not have earthly words to describe the things which the Lord has prepared to give to us.  When we get to heaven, we will be amazed to see them.

I read from Scroll # 244 which again describes how great our Lord Jesus is:

BEAUTIFUL CITIES – Jesus, you are more than this who created all the beauty around us and the awesome heavens, universes and stars!  One day beside the Holy City we will see beautiful cities and places of such wonder of thy creation!

Besides the stars and heavens you have created magnificent things that we have not seen!  “Beautiful colors of icy wonder like, of spiritual fires and lights of such beauty, and creatures likewise of such formation that we will be amazed and startled by such a creator of so many more things that can not be mentioned and are without number!  Such glorious spiritual colors never seen or beheld by man’s eyes!”  Surely and definitely many marvelous mysteries await us that love Him!  Literally more than trillions of creations will He unveil to His chosen!  – After this was revealed to me I wondered how to unveil it and then I remembered God’s Word that could have to do with the millennium.  (Luke 19: 16-19)  But also may involve what was told.  Nevertheless the elect are in for many surprises that eye hath not seen!

You can just imagine how we shall be in awe of the Lord when we see these things.  Our Lord Jesus is more than all of these “awesome heavens, universes and stars!”

We will see:  “beautiful cities and places of such wonder”, “Beautiful colors of icy wonder like, of spiritual fires and lights of such beauty”, “creatures likewise of such formation that we will be amazed and startled by such a creator of so many more things that can not be mentioned and are without number”, “Such glorious spiritual colors never seen or beheld by man’s eyes!” and “Literally more than trillions of creations”.

I read from “BOOK OF LETTERS TO THE SAINTS” (page 5); this paragraph is also found in “BLUE STAR ALBUM” (Page 3).  Brother Frisby was stating we cannot describe in earthly words the full extent of the majesty of the Lord shown in the glories that were captured by camera:

“It is way beyond the human ability to bring out the importance of all these pictures, even the most gifted pen must fall completely short in describing all they mean and their wonders!  Even if one had the ability of an arch angel he could not portray in earthly words the absolute majesty of these unique manifestations and the sublime workings of the spirit!  Who can describe His beauty and royal presence?”  We are entering the translative faith of Christ and are being readied for a new heavenly sphere of revelation, and rapturing shekinah is appearing!  “We are heading soon for a dramatic spontaneous gathering of the harvest!”

I continued with the sermon:

You can rest assured that when you leave this earth, either through death or if alive at the time of translation, that the Lord will be waiting for you because His very life is your life; you have His eternal life.
