Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, January 9, 2022

Introduction:  Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, January 9, 2022

This sermon talks about the fact that within each one of us is a living substance, a measure of faith, a light, the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is a finished product that takes on the spirit of salvation.  Once your faith triggers that treasure, you have salvation, you have healing.

2 Corinthians 4: 7:  “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

When you come to true salvation, it is because your faith rises and ignites the seed that the Lord has already put in you.

At the moment that you come to salvation, the Lord Jesus is already preparing you for translation.

John 11: 25 – 26:  “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:  he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.  Believeth thou this?”

When the Lord Jesus is talking about your salvation – “he that believeth in me”, he is already looking forward to your translation – “though he were dead, yet shall he live” and “whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die”.

Coming to the Lord Jesus in true repentance for the forgiveness of your sins is how you enter the kingdom of God.

John 3: 8:  “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”

Faith is simple because it is anchored on the word of God.

You will be blessed.

Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, January 9, 2022

We listened to a sermon titled “The Faith Evidence”, CD # 892, preached by Brother Neal Frisby on 5/2/82 (AM).

In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:

The power of the Lord will take away the possession of the world.

We need more joy and rejoicing, especially if you know you are headed to heaven.

The joy of the Lord is like a medicine and will get your faith working.

Joy and love will get your faith working.

Galatians 6: 9 – 10:  “And let us not be weary in well doing:  for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  As we have therefore opportunity, let us  do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

The moment you begin to pray, something begins to work for you, started by the seed of faith.

The children of Israel were to compass the city of Jericho for seven days (Joshua 6: 12 – 20).  From the first day that they encompassed the wall, the cracks started, even though this was not visible to the children of Israel.  Each time they obeyed the Lord, there were more cracks, until finally, the walls crumbled.

Sometimes, you may not see your prayer answered immediately, but the Lord is already working for you.

In 2 Kings 5: 1 – 14, Elisha told Naaman to go and wash in river Jordan seven times.  After three or four times of dipping in the river, he did not see any change in his skin.  However, inside his heart, he still believed that what he had been told would take place.  After the seventh time, his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child.

The Lord was teaching Naaman patience.

Naaman was determined and stayed with it, even though he could not see his healing.

When you pray, stay with the Lord.  You may not know immediately that the Lord is already working for you.  If it is something you should not have, the Lord will let you know.

2 Corinthians 5: 7:  “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”

Each one of you has a little of that substance, a living substance, inside you, a measure of faith.

Romans 12: 3:  “according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith”.

The Lord Jesus said:  “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also” (John 14: 12).  We will do the works of the Lord.

Each one of you has an aura of light, the spirit of life that is on everybody, and when the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of life, gets involved, you have healings and miracles.

Faith, which causes healing, is coming from the Holy Spirit.

Hold onto the word of God and you can defeat the devil.

The Bible is full of power; the word of God lives forever.

Elisha prayed that the Lord should open the eyes of his servant, even though the servant could see nothing.  When the Lord opened his eyes, he saw that they were surrounded by angels, horses and chariots of fire.  He could no longer see their enemies; he was seeing the power of the Lord (2 Kings 6: 13 – 17).

Even though the physical eyes may see nothing, the spiritual eyes will say I can see all things; the heart will say I can believe all things.

Your answer is within you.

Elijah sent his servant to go and look towards the sea for evidence of rain.  The servant came back and stated he could see nothing.  At the seventh time, he came back and stated he could see a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand.  There was abundance of rain, symbolic of a great revival (1 Kings 18: 41 – 46).

The seed of faith and of wisdom begins to expand and we are in for a great revival.

You are what you confess.  If you confess negatively, you will not receive from the Lord.

There are more angels around us than the devil can muster.

The Lord has a plan, a work for each person.  It could be to be an intercessor.  The Lord will not have you do something and not give you the power for it.  He gives each person a measure of faith.

The Lord made this physical body to last a thousand years.  Adam lived 930 years (Genesis 5: 5) and Methuselah lived 969 years (Genesis 5:27).  When sin entered the world, with the population, the Lord reduced the number of years.

Inside your body is a finished product that takes on the spirit of salvation.  Once your faith triggers that treasure, you have salvation, you have healing.  By whose stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53: 5).

Your healing and salvation are already completed.

Once you accept Jesus, a change comes to your heart.

2 Corinthians 4: 7:  “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

Within you is a light, the power of the Holy Spirit.

You have that treasure within you; you have enough of instructions in the Bible.

A great revival is coming.

The Lord will appear unto all those that love His appearing (2 Timothy 4: 8).

Continue your believing the Lord day by day.

Those that believe are on the rock.

Enoch and Elijah are still alive after thousands of years.  Enoch is symbolic of those that will be translated when the Lord comes for us.

All things are possible to them that believe.

Keep the word of God and believe the word of God.

There is enough of power within you to overcome the power of sickness, to overcome the power of the devil.

2 Corinthians 4: 16:  “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”

David could see nothing in battle, but he trusted the Lord.

If you need Jesus, you have inside of you what you need to believe; it is a gift of God.

I started the sermon:

When you come to true salvation, it is because your faith rises and ignites the seed that the Lord has already put in you.

At the moment that you come to salvation, the Lord Jesus is already preparing you for translation.

1 Corinthians 15: 51 – 58:  “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

The “sting of death” is gone at the moment that you come to true salvation.  You will see it come to pass at the translation “when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality”.  You will be able to say:  “O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Romans 8: 10 – 11:  “And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

The Spirit of God dwells in you because you have true salvation.  The Lord then gives you certainty of translation as the Scripture states:  “if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Ephesians 1: 13 – 14:  “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”

After you hear the word of truth and believe in the Lord Jesus for salvation, the Lord then takes the next step:  He seals you with Himself – the Holy Spirit of promise, which “is the earnest of your inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession”.

As a result of your salvation, the Lord seals you until the day of translation.

When you come to the Lord Jesus for salvation, you are fully resting on Him for the forgiveness of your sins.  He is now your righteousness.

Luke 18: 9 – 14:  “And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:  Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.  The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.  I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other:  for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.”

The Pharisee in this parable trusted in himself for righteousness.  The Publican in this parable trusted in the Lord for righteousness.  The Lord Jesus, the eternal God, stated that the Publican was the one that was justified before Him.

Luke 23: 39 – 43:  “And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.  But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?  And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds:  but this man hath done nothing amiss.  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, to day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

One thief railed on the Lord Jesus.  The other thief rebuked the first thief and asked:  “Dost not thou fear God?”.  He further stated that they were receiving the due reward of their deeds, but that Jesus had done nothing wrong.  He then turned to the Lord Jesus and stated:  “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom”.  He put his full trust in the Lord Jesus for salvation.

This is what Brother Neal Frisby stated in the sermon “The Place – Paradise”, CD # 1143:  “Once you give your life to the Lord Jesus, you have shaken hands with eternity.”

You cannot give yourself righteousness; you cannot give yourself eternal life.  Only the Lord Jesus can give you righteousness; only He can give you eternal life.

Faith is simple because it is anchored on the word of God.

Matthew 21: 22 describes the power of prayer:  “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

I read from Scroll # 41:

THE LORD JESUS PRESERVES AND RECORDS THE FAITHFUL PRAYERS OF HIS CHILDREN IN GOLDEN VIALS! (Rev. 5:8) reveals these are the prayers of the saints!  This shows no real true prayer made in earnest is lost. – and it reads the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand!  (Rev. 8:3-4)  It depicts the tremendous importance that God puts on our prayers!  When we pray for our healing or the salvation of a loved one, even if faith is not high at that time the Lord saves the prayer until the level of faith is higher for the miracle to happen, “but He never forgets”!  The prayers are especially kept in golden vials until the right moment.  If answer is not instantly then later or it will take place gradually, nothing is wasted.  A startling revelation!  The angel offered  the prayers of the saints upon the altar (Rev. 8:3-4)  Every prayer you wrote in the will of God to me will in one way or another be answered, “for at some time you will have just the measure of faith!” – “Behold saith the Lord Jesus this is the hour of which I have spoken I would gather My chosen Sheep by name!  Yea they will turn in and follow Me, Yea they be but few but they will be powerful!  I have with held many wonders until now and I will release them unto My Elect, for in them I have put a desire yea to know the deep things of God.  I have spoken that the spirit shall show you things to come, yea the mighty secrets of the Lord shall appear in this last hour of prophecy!  “Behold run little ones, run unto the sanctuary of My Word and ye shall be clothed with sudden power”, but the nations shall be covered with astonishment.  Yea I am writing, this is the last time and signs, and My Elect shall be given the last signal!!

I continued with the Sermon:

Revelation 5: 8:  “And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.”

Revelation 8: 3 – 4:  “And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.  And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.”

Our prayers are important to the Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ.  When the right amount of faith rises in our heart, that prayer that we have committed unto Him will come to pass.
