Introduction:  Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, February 21, 2021

This sermon talks about the fact that not only will you do the will of God while you are on this earth (The Lord “worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” – Philippians 2: 13), you will also do His will when you get to heaven.

Like Revelation 2: 17 states, the Lord will give you a new name when you get to heaven.  This is your original name.  The reason for the Lord creating you and your purpose for eternity is tied to that original name.  This new name you will receive will let you reach out and do things in the kingdom of God.  You will be introduced to things that you have never seen.

 

Summary of Sermon preached on Sunday, February 21, 2021

We listened to a sermon titled “It Is Yours”, CD # 1739, preached by Brother Neal Frisby on 5/10/81 (AM).

In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:

The Bible is the most beautiful book in the world, if you read it right, if it is illuminated to you by the Holy Spirit.

You have faith in your heart and it is for you to release it.

Matthew 7: 8:  “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

All things are possible to him that believeth.

3 John 1: 2:  “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

In Genesis Chapter 15, the Lord assured Abraham that He was his great reward.  The Lord showed him he would need to fight against evil powers in order to keep what He had promised him.  The Lord also appeared to him to confirm the promise.  Verse 1:  “After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram:  I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.”  Verse 11:  “And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.”  Verse 17:  “And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.”

Beat back the devil, otherwise the birds (that is, satanic spirits) will take the promise of God from you.

Fight the good fight of faith and the pillar of fire will pass before you.

When God gives you a promise, you will need to beat back demon powers that will try to prevent you from receiving it.

Every promise in the Bible is yours, but you have to believe it and hold it.

It is God’s will that the sick be healed, that you have good health, that you be free from oppression and fear, that your daily needs be met, that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospereth.

It is God’s will that you receive the promise of salvation, the promise of prosperity and the promise of the Holy Spirit.

Every promise of God is already in you.

The Lord heard the prayer of King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 19: 15 and He fought for the children of Israel in 2 Kings 19: 35.

2 Kings 19: 15:  “And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.”

2 Kings 19: 35:  “And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand:  and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.”

Give yourself to God and see what He can do for you.

You have the promises of God, do something about them.

You have the word of God, stand up and fight for it.

We are going to heaven and we will see the El Mesiah (the Lord Jesus) laughing and rejoicing with His people.

Brother Frisby then had a prayer and testimony line.

 

I started the sermon by reading from Special Writing # 036 – “THE WILL OF GOD IN ONE’S LIFE”

My letter of encouragement this time concerns the will of God in one’s life!  Yes, the Lord knows you even more personally than you know yourself!  In His infinite love and wisdom He has a plan for you and every person born in this world!  It is a definite plan; and He is nudging you into your place!  He foresees all who are to be born; He sees the coming of each one!  For example He gave the name to King Cyrus 200 years in advance! (Isa. 44: 28) – “He gave the name of another king long before his appearance! (I Kings 13: 2) And His work was fulfilled to the letter. (II Kings 23: 16) God knew all about Jeremiah before his birth and his future work. (Jer. 1: 5) the Bible also spoke about the coming of Emmanuel (Jesus) way ahead of time!” (Isa. 9:6) “Before one starts in the will of God he must first have the foundation of Salvation coupled with seeking more of His Holy Spirit! The true will of God is not your own will, but to do the will of His Word!” (St. John 7: 16-17)  “And lean not unto your own understanding but what the Word says and you will begin in His will!” – Matt. 7: 21, gives wisdom wherein it says, not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of God!” Verse 25 says, “the wise man will be founded upon the rock!” – “Sometimes there is a waiting for the perfect will of God, His timing is infallible!” (Eccl. 3: 1-2, 11-14) “The Lord knew about your coming to be in the last day work.  Don’t let satan misguide you from what you know in your heart is working for you! Jesus has a path and pattern laid out! A path is provided for the stars in the Solar system and He has provided a path for His children also!  This is revealed symbolically in Rev. 12: 1,5! – “Many of those called to help me will fit into this pattern that Paul gives speaking of the different glories, comparing celestial and terrestrial! He used the sun and the moon and the stars to compare different positions in glories.  Read it, I Cor. 15:40-42! – “The Lord knew Solomon beforehand and prepared him to build a Temple and created him solely to do this!  God had also preordained me to build this Temple with the Headstone ministry! He has also preordained a people to fit into the plans involved in helping!  It is a most rewarding, a very important will! Providence plays an absolute role in working for the high prize! (Phil. 3:13-14, Rom. 8:19, 27-29) Individually and as a whole the most perfect will is to be joined to the Headship ministry! (Eph. 1:4 – Eph. 2:20-22) The very Chief Corner stone!” “Behold this is the manifold wisdom of God (Mark 12:10) Remember the wise was joined to the Rock, the high prize of His calling! Jesus the Great Rock!”

“Some people are looking for more greatness in their lives to do major things, when in fact the greatness of His spirit is all around them and they fail to see it! To be associated in this last work is no greater calling according to the eternal calling which He purposed! Christ Jesus our Lord as head of it! The choice of His will for your life will last into eternity!

 

I continued with the Sermon:

This Special Writing states:  “In His infinite love and wisdom He has a plan for you and every person born in this world!”  The Lord has a plan for each life, not just for Christians, but for everyone born on this earth.  He has a plan for the baby that is alive for only a few days; He has a plan for the person that becomes wealthy; He has a plan for the person that becomes homeless; He has a plan for the person that is born disabled.

The plan the Lord has for each person is based on His infinite love and wisdom because He paid the price of salvation for every person; He tasted death for each one of us.  Hebrews 2: 9:  “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”

This is a definite plan from the Lord and He is nudging you into your place.  The Lord will lead you to do His will.  Philippians 2: 13:  “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

The Special Writing states:  “The choice of His will for your life will last into eternity!”

 

 

Ephesians 1: 11:  “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will”.  The Lord works “all things” according to His plan – “after the counsel of his own will”.

How does the Lord work these things according to His plan?

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-2:  “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted”.

This Scripture tells us that the Lord has predetermined a season for everything; He has predetermined a time for every purpose under the heaven.  He determines the time you will be born and He determines the time you will leave this earth.  He does not ask for your opinion.

Since the Lord already has a plan for each person that will be born on this earth, does He already have a plan for each of His children for when we get to heaven?

 

I read from Scroll # 43:

THE CHOSEN NAME – GOD FOREKNEW US BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD! (Rev. 17: 8)  In (Rev. 2: 17) – It reads God will give His Elect a white stone and in the stone a “new name already written!”  And only you will know the name.  Hundreds of Scriptures can bare this out but it proves God foreknew His Elect and gave him a heavenly name hidden from the beginning.  And then upon the earth he was given an earthly name (Rev. 2: 17) shows that we will be given the original name also.  This definitely shows that He knows each of His Elect as personal as He does “Gabriel” His archangel!  And brothers and sisters that makes His Elect an important class of all ages!  He loves us and imprinted it in stone!  (Eph. 1: 4)  We were chosen in Him before the world!

 

 

 

This is what Brother Frisby said in a sermon titled “Divine Purpose And Great Secrets”, CD # 1401:

Revelation 2: 17:  “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”

You have an earthly name which is not your real name.  You will shed your earthly name.  When you leave the earth, your name will change.  He has your real name before the foundation of the world.  This is a secret name that the Lord has given to you before you were born.

No one else knows this name, but you and the Lord.  You and the Lord have that code.  The “hidden manna” is the Lord Jesus.  A new name written.  This new name that you will receive will let you reach out and do things in the kingdom of God.  You will be introduced to things that you have never seen.

“eat of the hidden manna” – more revelation of the Lord Jesus, knowledge of what He has, you will receive great secrets, you will have a deeper walk with the Lord Jesus.  You will have knowledge of the secrets of God, some of which are hidden from the Angels.  The revelations we are receiving now are preliminary manna.

 

I continued with the Sermon:

This heavenly name that God gave to you is hidden from the beginning.  This is your original name.  You will get back your original name.  The reason for the Lord creating you and your purpose for eternity is tied to that original name.  You will go back to fulfil the destiny associated to your name.  Your stay on this earth will lead you back to that original name.  Like Brother Frisby said:   He has your real name before the foundation of the world.  This is a secret name that the Lord has given to you before you were born.  No one else knows this name, but you and the Lord.  You and the Lord have that code.  This new name you will receive will let you reach out and do things in the kingdom of God.  You will be introduced to things that you have never seen.

The Lord paid the price on the cross to make it possible for you to receive the name that goes with your eternal life.  John 3: 15:  “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

This original name is hidden by Him.  This name goes to His very plans for you when He created you.

This is your original name and it will be given back to you when you come to meet the Lord in heaven.

You cannot be somebody else and no one else can be you.

This name is personal between you and the Lord and it points to all that you will do for Him in eternity.

You will be doing for Him what He has created you to do.

You will be able to live with the Lord for eternity because He will give you a body that lasts for eternity.  2 Corinthians 5: 1:  “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

The Lord has an eternal purpose.  Ephesians 3: 11:  “According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord”.  The Lord is not just starting from scratch; He already has His eternal plan for each child of His – part of it was fulfilled in your life here on earth and then when you go to heaven, you will receive your original name that will let you fulfill what He has planned for you for eternity.

The fact that you are now on the path to eternity reminds us of 1 John 3: 2:  “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

 

 

 

 

You can rest assured that in your life on this earth, the Lord will work “in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2: 13) and in your life in heaven hereafter, you will receive your original name – a code that is between you and the Lord, that will let you reach out and do things in the kingdom of God for which He created you.  Indeed, you are now on the path to eternity, you are now the sons of God and the choice of His will for your life on this earth will last into eternity.

You now have the time to pray in tongues, knowing that the Lord is leading your life.  Apostle Paul spent much time in praying in tongues.  I Corinthians 14:  18:  “I thank my  God, I speak with tongues more than ye all”.

Romans 8: 26 – 28:  “Likewise the Sprit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”  The only way that you can pray for everything that you should pray for is when you pray in tongues.  It says:  “for we know not what we should pray for as we ought”.

When you pray in tongues, you may be praying about events in the future.  You may be praying for the Lord to save your life or the life of someone else from a danger that is still in the future.  You may be praying for someone who is not yet saved, but who you or someone else will be witnessing to sometime in the future. You may be praying for the Lord’s special anointing regarding your ministry or another person’s ministry in preaching this true gospel of the Lord.  The Lord will fulfill His will in your life.

 

 

 

We are now on the path to eternity.  Like Special Writing # 036 states:  “The choice of His will for your life will last into eternity!”
