Introduction

Psalm 31: 19: “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee”. You had all this stored for me, David said. Which Thou hast laid up for them that fear Thee. You’ve laid up all kinds of good things for them that fear Thee. At the appropriate time, you will allot these things to them, that you have laid up for them. He daily loadeth us up with benefits.

The Lord already has a storage laid up for you for the things you will need. He will allot them to you daily (Psalm 68: 19).

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4: 19

You do not need to take thought of the things you will need “for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things” (Matthew 6: 25, 31 – 33).

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”Psalm 32: 8

The Lord will guide you with His eyes because He can see beyond what you can see. He will see the way before you and open it up, and let you go on through because His eyes will go before your eyes.

Your times are in the Lord’s hand (Psalm 31: 15).

Yes, the Lord knows you even more personally than you know yourself! In His infinite love and wisdom He has a plan for you and every person born in this world! It is a definite plan; and He is nudging you into your place! He foresees all who are to be born; He sees the coming of each one!

The Lord is your light and your salvation (Psalm 27: 1).

The Lord is your light. You came as a point of light to this world. You were part of Him before you came to this earth. He is your salvation. He is your eternal life.

The eternal God is your hiding place (Psalm 32: 7).

(Ps. 91:1 – “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. And the secret place is in praising the Lord, repeating His word! (Bible)

The devil cannot stand a happy, rejoicing, joyful, Christian. He cannot stand one with the beam and the love of God on him.

Your life is now hidden with Christ, the mighty God, inside of Himself (Colossians 3: 3). The Lord Jesus Christ is the mighty God (Isaiah 9: 6).

You will be going in the translation because the Lord Jesus is your life, and you will appear with Him, glorified, when He appears (Colossians 3: 4).

You will be blessed.

Summary of the Sermon

We listened to a sermon titled “Spiritual Strength and Contentment”, CD # 1159, preached by Brother Neal Frisby.

In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:

When we come to church, if you know how to rest in the Lord, He’ll begin to remove the pressure that’s upon you. He’ll begin to move in such a way that you can relax, and your faith will begin to move for you. When you begin to relax, and you allow the Lord to begin to move around with, your faith begins to work for you. And no matter what, some kind unconsciously, whatever you want the Lord to do, it will come to pass, and He’ll be in your favor because of your faith.

More than ever before, nothing, it seems like, pleases the people, the populous. It doesn’t matter what it is, it seems like nothing can please the people.

The world has the most dissatisfied spirit, now than ever in the history of the world.

What is missing? The Lord Jesus is missing.

Jesus said seek you the Kingdom of God first, and all these things will be added.

You cannot change the Lord. You cannot change the way that He wants things done, but you must believe, and you must do what the Lord said, and believe like the Lord believes in Bible, like He gives His word, then you’ll be satisfied. Never try to change the Lord. Know His word, what He said. You go right along with it. He’ll help you. You may fall, something may happen, you may make a mistake, but if you keep your sight right on that word, He’ll be right there with you.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God; Jesus said this, here is the key. He said ye shall be satisfied, almost as if you were satisfied, and you didn’t even know it when you had Him. Don’t let the things of this world take you off guard.

David praised the Lord seven times a day. Now, that wasn’t “Praise the Lord; Praise the Lord; Praise the Lord; Praise the Lord; Praise the Lord; Praise the Lord” seven times. But that was he got down and praised the Lord, sometimes an hour, sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes 2 hours, maybe sometimes 3 hours, maybe seven times a day. Many times he will catch Him in the nighttime on his bed, praising the Lord.

What a kingdom, to this day, it’s been established. God will sit upon it. It was established, why, because he was satisfied in the Lord, and the enemy stuck at him, and fought him, on every side. Every army, every kind, even his own people turned upon him, and his own sons, and so forth. Yet, he held the crown, he held right to it there. Knowing the word of God from a little child, how the Lord would visit him, and how powerful the Lord was. And how the devil could drag you down, but how God could lift you up real quick. He knew all of these things.

I praise the Lord seven times a day. Now, seven times a day he was satisfied, and found peace, during those times there until the devil would throw something at him again out there in war, so forth like that.

He knew how to approach God. He would bring himself down to the most humble, the most humility, of a king that you ever saw at times.

He knew how to approach God. He had the right attitude when he come up before Him. He come in the right attitude because He was real. He was as real, and more real, as David was looking at himself in the water. My heart panteth for the most High. God watching all of that in his heart.

He knew how to receive. People know how to pray sometimes, to reach out and praise the Lord, but you’ve got to know how to receive, and actually make the Lord to rejoice in helping him. The Lord rejoiced when He helped him. Not only did he receive, but the Lord rejoiced to help him. How will you like the Lord to help you, and then rejoice in it? These promises are for you.

Psalm 30, 9 and 10: What profit is there in my blood, see, the life is in the blood. Listen to this: What profit is there in my blood when I go down to the pit? There’s no life in my blood. What profit is in my blood when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise Thee? Shall it declare Thy truth? You better praise the Lord. In another place David said, while you’re alive, because you won’t praise Him in the dust.

It showed you how to get satisfied. Now is the time. What profit to me, it says here, what, is there any profit in my blood when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise Thee? Can I then declare Thy truth? I better declare it now.

Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me. The Lord be Thou my helper.

Psalm 31: 14, 15, 19 and 21: But I trusted in Thee, O Lord. I said Thou art my God. My times are in Thine hand. My times, your times, each individual, your times are in His hands.

So, David knew, my times are in Thine hand. He said deliver me from the hand of my enemies. He knew he couldn’t hold him, and from them that persecute me.

Oh how great is Thy goodness, David said, which Thou hast laid up. You had all this stored for me, David said. Which Thou hast laid up for them that fear Thee. You’ve laid up all kinds of good things for them that fear Thee. At the appropriate time, you will allot these things to them, that you have laid up for them. He daily loadeth us up with benefits. Daily, daily, every day, you look for something from the Lord. Every day, a blessing of some kind from the Lord. Daily, He loadeth me.

Thou shall hide them in the secret of Thy presence. He’ll overshadow you from the pride of men. Thou shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. We find out strife comes from tongues. And David said no matter how they shoot out at me, no matter how my enemies, and they were those idol worshippers all around him, and some that were around him that didn’t believe in the Lord, and the tongues of strife which shoot out at him, He said no matter about all of that, the Lord shall hide me from them.

Blessed be the Lord for He hath shewed me this marvelous kindness. He hath shewed me this marvelous kindness in a strong city.

Psalm 32, 6 and 9: A time when Thou mayest be found, praying, surely in the floods of great waters. They shall not come nigh unto Thee. Now, waters denote people that cry around in riots and rebellions, or the floods upon the earth that come from water, but they shall not, David said, in the time of prayer.

Thou art my hiding place. Thou shall preserve me from the trouble. Thou shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. I shall hear the sound of the Spirit like I did in the mulberry tree.

If you want to let the devil, from day to day, kick you around, now that’s your business. But I can tell you what, you get this enough in you, when he kicks you, he’s going to hurt his foot. He cannot stand a happy, rejoicing, joyful, Christian. He cannot stand one with the beam and the love of God on him. He cannot stay, he’s got to back off. But he’s looking for the Christians that are all just the opposite, saith the Lord.

I will instruct thee and teach thee, saith the Lord, in the way which thou should go. I will guide thee with mine eye, David, and all those that fear me. I will guide thee with mine eye. He will see the way before you and open it up, and let you go on through because His eyes will go before your eyes. He’ll help you from getting into problems, and troubles, financial or whatever it might be, that come, and whatever it is on the job, or whatever it might be, that you are out there working or wherever you are at, with your friends or your people, or you want to witness, or whatever you’re talking about, His eyes will go before you as you testify. God will be with you. You must believe this. You must accept it in your heart.

The world does not have anything unless they turn to Christ, but you do have the Rock, you have the Anchor, you have got it all, saith the Lord. There is no more, the Spirit of God is all of it.

Be ye not as the horse, or as a mule, which have no understanding, whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. You have to force them to go this way, and to go that way. Listen to what that means: Be not like that horse or that mule that won’t listen. Don’t force yourself to serve Jesus. Do it with joy, praise, and thanksgiving. Don’t say I have to force myself to serve the Lord Jesus. See, don’t be like the mule or the horse, for the Lord has to almost kick you up there, the Lord almost has to push you up there, pull the rug out of you to do something. Don’t force yourself to serve the Lord, but serve Him in joy, serve Him in praise, serve Him in thanksgiving. Seven times a day praise the Lord. You’ll be satisfied seven times a day.

And ye shall eat and have plenty, and be satisfied, and he was speaking in spiritual things. And ye shall not hunger nor thirst, for my Spirit shall be upon thee, and we are coming to the end of the age.

In thanksgiving and praise, He’s going to bring a wonderful rest. He’s going to quench that thirst, quench that hunger for Him, but you must accept it. You must believe it.

David said I’ll praise the Lord seven times; seven means fulfillment. He knew how to approach the living God. He had the right altitude when he come before Him. He threw himself as nothing without God, and he knew that God was all things, and nothing can be added to it, David said.

The Lord is my light, He’s my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Whom shall I fear? He’s my light, my salvation. He is the strength of my life. Whom shall I be afraid or whom shall I fear?

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion, in the secret of His tabernacle. He shall hide me in that tabernacle, He shall set me upon a rock. I’ll be setting on a solid ground, not on sand.

When he got in the tabernacle, that means the most High’s wings. Wherever he wat at was a tabernacle. Once he started praising God, it was a living tabernacle. And he said He set me upon a rock. I’m not setting in water or sand. David said I get in that tabernacle, I’m on solid rock, where the word is, I won’t sink.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Many of them won’t wait to see the goodness of the Lord. They won’t wait to see God move in the land of the living where He’ll bring showers of blessings, where showers and refreshing rain from the Holy Spirit, in a thirst and a parched ground, that Satan has tried to overrule and come in with false doctrine, and cults, and lukewarm Christianity, and half-way Christianity. We need the total Christianity; we need all of the word of God moving in our life.

At the end of the age, they have fainted. That’s the falling away. They have fainted on the left, they have fainted on the right, they have fainted in the middle, they have fainted out before they got here, they’ve fainted after they leave, they’re fainting everywhere over this earth, falling out, falling away. Paul said the great falling away will come just before the translation will take place, and the rising of the beast power totally.

But David said I believe this, that’s why I didn’t faint. He believed in the word that God gave him. He believed in the Old Testament. He believed what he heard from the Lord in the miraculous power that he saw, and the miraculous miracle that He’s done, he believed, doubting nothing, he believed the Lord.

Now, at the end of the age, those that faint not shall be like David. Their thirst and their hunger be satisfied. And the miraculous power will increase, and the joy of the Lord, and the power of the Lord, to make you happy.

You don’t force yourself to serve the Lord. You do it with great joy, and you do it from the bottom of your heart. You pray, you thank Him, you shout the victory, you get happy, you love God, for it’s a surety in your heart, eternal life. And what God’s got, laid up for them, is enough to make you shout.

But if you get the spirit of this world on you, and it closes in on you, nothing will satisfy you, if that gets hold of you. But it takes the Lord Jesus Christ, then He said all of these things that you need shall be added unto you. He is the key.

Psalm 29: The voice of the Lord is upon the waters. See, that’s people talking there too. The God of glory thundereth: The Lord is upon many waters. The voice is thunders, that’s what’s associated in the seven thunders, is the voice of God with His people, and how He’s going to satisfy them, and how He’s going to break forth upon them as never before. I mean, He’s going to break forth in them thunders.

The voice of the Lord breaketh upon the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon and they fall down, they’re broken, lightning strikes where David was praying. Trees were cut all to pieces in there. Yea, the most High came down, He bowed the heavens, and thundered, and come down, and saw me when I prayed.

Dispensations call for different things. We are headed for one too. The time curve of God. You talk about the majesty of the Lord, and the power, and how He’s going to come, and the cherubims of the Lord, God coming in lights to His people, is incredible. He will visit that elect.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like the young unicorn. Now, how that word unicorn get in there? That’s a mystical figure that used to, horse-like looking thing, that had great horn in the middle.

The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. He divideth the flames of fire on the day of Pentecost. Here, come down, one great flame, and He divideth the fire, and tongues of fire sat on the heads everywhere.

Thunder, let lightning come, and the trees all fall down. That’s people, and He divideth the flames of fire, tongues of fire sat on the day of Pentecost.

And He divideth the flames of fire, the voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness, earthquakes all around. The Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh, quakes in every direction. God talking, he said, His voice.

God’s preaching in these earthquakes today. He can preach better than man by the weather patterns, and earthquakes. He’s preaching it’s time for men to repent everywhere. Saith the Lord, I’m shaking the earth, turn and look and see who’s doing it. Who is allowing this thing to take place? Shaketh, look up now, signs in the heavens. Look in the heavens for there’ll be signs given, my coming is getting very, very, close. Look into your streets and all around. These are signs, and the Lord’s preaching in nature, and in earthquakes, and floods, typhoons, and hurricane, He’s preaching. It’s time to repent, it’s time to turn. But in nature and everything that we see, the very foundations, and whatever, God is talking to His people.

And the voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in His temple doeth every one; all of a sudden he stopped and caught us. Verse 9: The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, discovered the forest, and in His temple doeth every one speak of His glory. He means every one of you to speak of His glory. Nothing else, that means positive testimony, that means speaking of the goodness and the power, the signs, the wonders of the Lord, every one, David said, speaketh of His glory. He didn’t say everybody ought to, he said every one speaketh of His glory. I guess if you didn’t really want to look in there, that’s part of God’s glory that created you. Everybody speaketh the glory of God.

The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever. King of the Universe, all Universes, King of everything. He sitteth King for ever.

The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.

He will give strength, and He will give peace, that is satisfaction. Peace is when it comes to your heart.

Psalm 125: They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. This is these that trust in the Lord.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people, henceforth for ever, and ever.

Those that trust in the Lord, as mount Zion, that cannot be removed. They’re like Jerusalem where all the mountains encompass them around, and the Lord is encompassed His people for ever and ever the same way, they that trust in the Lord.

Remember, spiritual strength, the world cannot be satisfied. The world is not pleased. It’s in a fantasy world of drunkenness, it’s in a fantasy world of all these stupors, and all these things going on, is not satisfied. And don’t let that spirit get ahold of the Christian.

Scripture Reading

“Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!”Psalm 31: 19

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.”Psalm 68: 19

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4: 19

You do not need to take thought of the things you will need “for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things”.

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?”Matthew 6: 25

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”Matthew 6: 31 – 33

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”Psalm 32: 8

The Lord will guide you with His eyes because He can see beyond what you can see.

I will instruct thee and teach thee, saith the Lord, in the way which thou should go. I will guide thee with mine eye, David, and all those that fear me. I will guide thee with mine eye. He will see the way before you and open it up, and let you go on through because His eyes will go before your eyes.

Psalm 31: 14, 15: But I trusted in Thee, O Lord. I said Thou art my God. My times are in Thine hand. My times, your times, each individual, your times are in His hands.

I read from Special Writing # 036:

“THE WILL OF GOD IN ONE’S LIFE”

My letter of encouragement this time concerns the will of God in one’s life! Yes, the Lord knows you even more personally than you know yourself! In His infinite love and wisdom He has a plan for you and every person born in this world! It is a definite plan; and He is nudging you into your place! He foresees all who are to be born; He sees the coming of each one!

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”Psalm 27: 1

The Lord is my light, He’s my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Whom shall I fear? He’s my light, my salvation. He is the strength of my life. Whom shall I be afraid or whom shall I fear?

The Lord is your light. You came as a point of light to this world. You were part of Him before you came to this earth. He is your salvation. He is your eternal life.

“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.”Psalm 32: 7

Thou art my hiding place. Thou shall preserve me from the trouble. Thou shall compass me about with songs of deliverance.

You will be going in the translation because the Lord Jesus is your life, and you will appear with Him, glorified, when He appears (Colossians 3: 4).

I read from Scroll # 70:

(Ps. 91:1 – “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. And the secret place is in praising the Lord, repeating His word! (Bible)

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”Colossians 3: 2 – 3

Your life is now hidden with Christ, the mighty God, inside of Himself. The Lord Jesus Christ is the mighty God (Isaiah 9: 6).

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”Isaiah 9: 6

“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”Colossians 3: 4

You will be going in the translation because the Lord Jesus is your life, and you will appear with Him, glorified, when He appears.
