Introduction

We are twins. We have a physical body, and we have a spiritual body.

You know when you look at a mirror, you see your physical body. But if you could, it would be like looking at the spiritual body that you have.

If you are a true child of God, you will come to repentance in your soul and will keep the eternal spirit that you have received from Him.

“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.”Psalm 19: 7

When the spirit leaves the body, the soul and spirit become one.

The body carries the soul and the eternal spirit (Gift of deity) ignites the soul body with life, and it becomes a “living personality” of the spirit!

The body (flesh) often waring against “the spirit soul” which is the real you!

The real you (the spiritual part) was with God before it was appointed a body upon the earth through seed.

“Behold saith the Lord do ye not know this Scripture? Ye were with Me when the Morning Stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy!” (Job 38:6,7).

The real eternal spirit which God gives His saints had no beginning and has no end and is like unto God! And when we repent (salvation) we keep this spirit in order to always live with Him!!

In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, the Holy Spirit that we have, is inside of us. Now the Holy Spirit continues its work. That’s just final work to us, to give us eternal life. We are changed. Then we turn into a spiritual body. And that’s why it’s in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, it’s right there. The dead bodies, those that have passed on, will come back, their bodies will be changed too, they will receive it out of the grave, God will bring it back together.

The elect body will be changed uniting soul and spirit together, (becoming Glorified) Then all three stages of body, soul and spirit blend as “one”.

“That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.”Ecclesiastes 3: 15

That means if you’re on this earth, you’re going to be seen again. Jesus was on this one and preached to us. He’s going to be seen again.

Physical death and the death of the soul are not the same. He is the only one that can destroy the soul. Matthew 10: 28.

I am He that liveth and was dead. Make no mistake about it. They killed me, and was dead, and, behold, I am alive forevermore. Revelation 1: 18, and have the keys to hell and death.

He’s the only one that we have to do with, that the only name in heaven and earth is the Lord Jesus. He holds that key to your future.

You’ve got a celestial point of light in you.

So, never fear death. It’s like you transpire into something else, but what you want to do is to believe in the Lord Jesus.

If you don’t believe you’ve got a soul, then you’re like the atheist, it says that there is no God.

Remember, it is a very vital and important thing to remember you’re twins, what’s on the inside of you, and what’s on the outside of you, and it’s very important for you to make plans for the spiritual now.

And as far as time is, we’re just here like that; we’re gone on beams of light. So, what we do now is going to count, forever, and ever.

Let’s praise the Lord for the way that He created us. A dual nature, and it’s that very nature inside that’s wanting to do all the praying.

The Lord Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the mighty God (Revelation 1: 8; Isaiah 9: 6).

Lord Jesus, we bless you, we worship you, you are the Holy Spirit, our eternal God, and you will change our physical bodies at the time of translation, to put on immortality, to put on incorruption, and so shall we ever be with you, in our glorified, eternal, body. Thank you, Jesus.

Summary of the Sermon

We listened to a sermon titled “Quickening Spirit”, CD # 1178, preached by Brother Neal Frisby.

In the sermon, Brother Frisby said:

Quickening spirit, a quickening spirit, body, and soul. You get that quickening spirit. You know physical death has always been a mystery of what would happen right after death for some people. But according to the Scriptures, there’s no mystery to it at all. It’s just as plain as our life, the coming and going now, and going to the Lord again.

But also, we are twins. We have a physical body, and we have a spiritual body. Just as plain as our outside body, it’s showing us that we have an inside body, like a mirror; a quickening spirit, body, and soul.

And listen to this right here. Now in 1 Corinthians chapter 15: There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial. Now terrestrial is earthly. Celestial is heavenly. He says there’s two. But the glory of the celestial, that is one, that is different. And the glory of the terrestrial is another. Earthly, that is, different. You want to read that 1 Corinthians 15: 40 through about 45.

It is sown a natural body. When we come upon the earth we’re sown in a natural body. It is raised in a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

You know when you look at a mirror, you see your physical body. But if you could, it would be like looking at the spiritual body that you have. That’s where your being is. Your way that you do things, and believe in God, and so forth like that, in your soul.

And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul, yet he had a body. He was made a living soul, and the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. His body will change. He will be glorified. He has eternal life. He is a quickening spirit.

In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, the Holy Spirit that we have, is inside of us. The faith that we have inside of us will continue its work. And as the Holy Spirit continues its work, it’s went through all the nine gifts, it’s went through the power that He will give us that rests upon us, it has given us this translative faith, in this power. Now the Holy Spirit continues its work, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, the Holy Spirit changes. That’s just final work to us, to give us eternal life. We are changed. Then we turn into a spiritual body. The Holy Spirit continues its work. It’s just another step. And that’s why it’s in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, it’s right there. The dead bodies, those that have passed on, will come back, their bodies will be changed too, they will receive it out of the grave, God will bring it back together.

So, we see, there is, two bodies. One, sown, one in a natural body, and one is a spiritual body.

Now you know there was a garden of fruit, all kinds of fruit. And in the garden was everything, anything that Adam and Eve wanted. But what would have happened had they not disobeyed God or sin? What would have happened to them? Would they have lived on eternally? What would have happened to Adam and Eve? Now, in the body they had, it was limited. A physical body is limited. They had a glow to it. And what would have happened to them? Now they lived, as it was, Adam almost a thousand years, millennium, in that physical body. He shortened its span, right on straight up. Same type of body, but He shortened its span. Enoch showed what would have happened to them. Enoch was caught up. He was translated that he should not see death.

And they wouldn’t have seen death. They’d have been changed. They would have been caught up, that had eternal life. But at some point, with a physical body, they would have had to have been changed. So, Enoch showed what would have happened to Adam and Eve had they not done that. But in God’s plan, they were sown a natural body, and they’ll have a chance, they repent of what they did. They have a chance. They will be seen again. They will have eternal life anyway because they believed in the Lord God.

In Ecclesiastes 3: 15: That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God required that which is past. And He will judge the future.

But in those things Solomon was talking about, the past, the present, and the future. Let’s read again: That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God required that which is past. He will judge the past, present and future, in eternal. He’s eternal, we’ll blend into eternal life.

Now, what is in the past is now, and what has been, shall be again. That means if you’re on this earth, you’re going to be seen again. Jesus was on this one and preached to us. He’s going to be seen again.

It also speaks of past, present, and future, in cycles. That what occurred in the past will occur again in some manner, maybe a little bit different. But it will occur again.

So those that are sitting in this audience, you have already been brought into this world, sown into this world. Then if you die or pass on or whatever it is, translated, you will be seen again. You can’t escape it.

Physical death and the death of the soul are not the same.

And fear not them which kill the body, but they cannot kill the soul. But rather, fear Him which is able to destroy body and soul in hell. Matthew 10: 28.

But, yea, fear Him which has power over the body, and power over the soul, to destroy both. Revelation chapter 20 tells you about the second death.

But the thing is this. He is the only one that can destroy the soul. I don’t care what happens to you here. So, we know then physical death and death of the soul are not the same. You’ll die in this body, but that spiritual body is going on to God; one way or the other, it’ll get there.

Now the rich fool’s soul required, and he died.

Now the rich fool in a parable, land brought forth plentiful. He brought forth in abundance. In fact, he had anything and everything he wanted, in too much, he couldn’t no longer put it into his barns. He didn’t have any room for it, was left over. So, he said to himself, soul, soul. Now, God showing us what soul is, inside of him. He said soul, soul. He said this, what I will do, I will expand. Notice he only talked about himself, what he was going to do, he never mentioned God.

Not at one time did he ever mention the Lord, probably the rich man didn’t either, only Lazarus. And he said soul, soul, I will expand, and I will build huge, great barns, and I’ll put all my fruit in those barns, and he said that’s what I will do, and then I will say soul, thou has laid up much goods and much fruit, all these expansions. You have many years to sit back and take it, ease. Then he said I will drink, eat, and be merry. And the Lord said, this night, this night, thy soul is required. Now He didn’t say his body, but his soul.

This man left the Lord out of it, and that’s what the Lord was saying, you have nothing for the most High, not a prayer, anything, you don’t have anything for me, and I’ve been watching you, and this was a watching of all people that come and go upon the earth, that God sees coming and going, and so, because he left God out of his plans, the Lord didn’t have any plans for him. If you put God in your plans, He’s got plans for you. This night you won’t go another step further; this night thy soul is required. Then He said who’s goods shall all of that be, that you have there. You’ve left nothing to spirituality, you’ve left nothing to Christianity, who shall it be? You’ve left nothing to me, saith the Lord. This night shall thy soul be. And then the Lord said he that layeth up treasure to himself is not rich toward God, meaning if you leave God out of it, you keep some, you give some to the Lord as He requireth. So, He called him a fool because he did not take God into his undertaking.

And there was another one, and the rich man died. He was buried, that’s the way He explains that; the other was about the soul. And the rich man died. He wouldn’t do anything for anybody, for Lazarus, anybody, and he died. And Jesus carried the story beyond the grave. And we find out that this fellow wanted to come back, but it was too late. Now, his soul, he was in hell, Hades, said buried. He was down there. His body was still in the grave, but here, and Lazarus was too, but he looked up and there was a spirit, soul, of Lazarus, and it was the bosom of Abraham, paradise, Angel of the Lord. Now, both bodies in the grave; one soul going that way, one soul crying, one spirit out of hell. Now Lazarus will come back in the resurrection, as a quickening spirit, pick up that body, he will go back again; that’s exactly right.

But the rich man, in Hades, will have to wait a thousand years; he’ll stand before the judgment; that’s the way it is. After the millennium, one is first, the other follows.

And so, about the rich fool, was no hope, body and soul. So, we find out, physical death, it’s not like the soul’s death, and only God can bring that. I don’t care, after you die here, if the Lord does not take it, you live on and on until He does. No one, once you are made a spirit, and body, and soul, you’re there until God says otherwise. You may evaporate this body, this old tabernacle, but you’re going to go on with the Lord.

He said come up hither in Revelation chapter four. There was a translation, in a twinkling of an eye, in a moment, it was gone just like that, that’s exactly right. And so we find out, the Jews, they died in their sins because He said unless you believe I am He, you shall die in your sins, and they looked right at Him, and they disappeared, they are gone, but they will have to come back to that day and see the same One, in glorified body or how He wants to reveal Himself, when He spoke that to them, the word will judge you.

There is no escaping, there are two of you. There are two of you, there are twins, there is the body and there is the soul. There is sown a physical body and there is sown a spiritual body. There is a terrestrial, earthly. There is a celestial, heavenly. So, the best thing to do is join it with the Lord Jesus.

And the Apostles to taste of death, but some to see the glory of the transfiguration first. And He called three, He said I tell you of a truth some of you here, standing here, shall see the kingdom of God before you die. In the transfiguration, here they saw both sides. They saw the spiritual side where Jesus had changed, and His face was altered. We know about the transfiguration that took place, and they looked and they saw Moses and Elijah, and a cloud of fire, and power, were there. And they saw that they were able to see the Kingdom of God. They saw on one side, and they come back to the other side. They didn’t even know what kind of a body they were in, they didn’t know what was happening to them, but it took place. Paul same way, caught up in third paradise, whether I was in this body or whether I was out of this body, I don’t know. Whether I was in my soul body, my quickening spirit personality, I don’t know, but I know I was there. And he tells us, you know, all about it, that it’s unlaw for him to even write about some of the things that he revealed because John would write some of them and some of them be hidden forever until we get there, whatever the Lord wants to reveal to us.

If you die and you have the Lord Jesus Christ, you come again.

It says here Jesus was dead but is alive forevermore. I am He that liveth and was dead. Make no mistake about it. They killed me, and was dead, and, behold, I am alive forevermore. It was just a moment that He passed through that. And He says here, Amen, that means final; and have the keys of hell and death, Revelation 1: 18, and have the keys to hell and death.

He’s the only one that we have to do with, that the only name in heaven and earth is the Lord Jesus. He holds that key to your future. He holds the key, but whatever’s going to happen, as Ecclesiastes said, what is here is now, has already been, and what shall come has been here too. You’ll be seen again.

You see, it is there, but people can’t see it. The Angels transport it to wherever it’s to go, and so forth like that.

Just because you can’t see the spiritual part on the inside of that soul, doesn’t mean it’s not there.

If you don’t believe you’ve got a soul, then you’re like the atheist, it says that there is no God.

The rich fool lived only for his time, he made plans only for this world, he made plans in the materialistic, he made plans in the physical, he made plans for everything in this world, because he made no plans for his spiritual soul, so, he was called a fool. So, let us make plans for the spiritual soul by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and loving Him.

So, we find out there, God’s great secrets, from Genesis right straight on through to where the Bible gives us there is a celestial body, and there are bodies terrestrial, but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial, which is earthly, is another. It is sown in a natural body, it is raised in a spiritual body. So, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, we should be changed, be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

So, you say, shall we be seen again? That which has been is now, and that which is to be hath already been, and God requires that which is past. Right, there’s past, present, and future coming and going, until we blend into eternal life.

Remember, it is a very vital and important thing to remember you’re twins, what’s on the inside of you, and what’s on the outside of you, and it’s very important for you to make plans for the spiritual now. You know the physical, it feeds, it eats. Now the spiritual, it needs to feed and eat on the word of God. The Bible said it needs to be nourished by the word of God, and by the anointing of the Lord.

Soul, soul, you know what you ought to say, it’s not soul, soul, I’m going to drink and be merry and all of that, and go out in the world, but you want to say, soul, soul, I’ve laid up much storage of the Spirit.

And as far as time is, we’re just here like that; we’re gone on beams of light. So, what we do now is going to count, forever, and ever.

Let’s praise the Lord for the way that He created us. A dual nature, we’ve got a dual nature, and it’s that very nature inside that’s wanting to do all the praying. The physical body, it don’t want to praise God; physical body, it don’t want to believe God. It is that one inside there that wants to get out, it wants to get loose, it wants to have power.

It said that the spirit was willing, Paul said, that the spirit soul, it was willing, but he said the body was in the way.

Scripture Reading

I read from Scroll # 43:

THE BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT – (When the spirit leaves the body, the soul and spirit become one) The body carries the soul and the eternal spirit (Gift of deity) ignites the soul body with life, and it becomes a “living personality” of the spirit! The body (flesh) often waring against “the spirit soul” which is the real you! The elect body will be changed uniting soul and spirit together, (becoming Glorified) Then all three stages of body, soul and spirit blend as “one” The same as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost united together as “One” (marvelous!) (Read – I Cor. 15: 40-44). (The soul is the personality connected to The Spirit)

THE ELECT SPIRITS WHICH WERE PART OF GOD, BEFORE THE ELECT BODY WAS CREATED – The real you (the spiritual part) was with God before it was appointed a body upon the earth through seed. There is a fleshly seed and a spiritual seed which was united! The real eternal spirit which God gives His saints had no beginning and has no end and is like unto God! That is why after death our body is changed into the inner immortal spirit, that is why it is called eternal life, it always was and always will be with God! And He breathed it into each of us (Gen. 2: 7) “Behold saith the Lord do ye not know this Scripture? Ye were with Me when the Morning Stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy!” (Job 38:6,7) Our flesh body came upon earth by birth uniting with His spirit which was always with Him! And when we repent (salvation) we keep this spirit in order to always live with Him!! Read (Isa. 1:9 – Eph. 1:4) (Satan’s seed is a group, also the Lord has created a place for them.)

“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”Ecclesiastes 12: 7

In the Bible, it will sometimes say the soul left the body or it will say the spirit left the body. The soul and spirit have become one and left the body.

“And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again. And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.”1 Kings 17: 21 – 22

“And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour. And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin. And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.”Genesis 35: 16 – 19

“And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.” Verse 49: “While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.” Verses 54 – 55: “And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.”Luke 8: 41 – 42
