The following are the foundational beliefs of Gospel Word Ministry, Inc. These beliefs are drawn directly from the Holy Scriptures and are the basis for all that we teach and do.
We believe that the Holy Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions must be measured. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
There is only one God — eternal, all-knowing, all-powerful, and present everywhere — who reveals Himself in the Scriptures as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These are not three different persons, but one God manifesting in three different offices. Isaiah 9:6 reveals that the child born in Bethlehem, the Lord Jesus Christ, is “The” Mighty God; not “a” Mighty God, but “The” Mighty God. Isaiah 9: 6: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Almighty God who came in the form of a human being to die for our sins. He is the Creator. Colossians 1: 16 – 17 states: “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” There is no other God besides the Lord Jesus. Isaiah 43: 10 - 11: “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates the repentant sinner, and indwells every true believer. This is the Lord Jesus in the form of the Spirit. The Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives, gives spiritual gifts for ministry, and guides the church in truth. (John 16: 7 – 14; Romans 8: 9).
Romans 3: 23: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”. But through the Lord Jesus Christ, we become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5: 21: “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Hebrews 2: 9: “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” Ephesians 1: 7: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace”.
Salvation is a free gift from God, received only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 4: 12: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Ephesians 2: 8 - 9: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
John 11: 25 – 26: “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this?” If you were to pass on before the translation, you will not feel the sting of death, and you will have victory over the grave. But the sinner who did not come to salvation has the sting of death on him when he leaves, and the grave has victory over him. 1 Corinthians 15: 55 - 57: “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Since the translation will occur all over the world at the same time, it means there will be people who are truly saved throughout the whole world. These are our brethren, and we should keep them in our prayers. We shall all meet the Lord Jesus in the air, and so shall we ever be with Him. 1 Thessalonians 4: 16 - 18: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
We are all ambassadors for Christ, to let others know about the good news that the Lord Jesus has tasted death for everyone, for us to have eternal life. 2 Corinthians 5: 18 - 20: “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
With prayer and thanksgiving, we should come before the Almighty God, the Lord Jesus. Psalm 100: 4: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Philippians 4: 4 – 7: “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
