What We Believe

We hold dearly the truths of the Bible:

* We preach the gospel of salvation:  repentance in the heart - believing the finished work of the Lord Jesus on the cross.  The Lord spoke of His blood which "is shed for you" (Luke 22: 20).  John 3: 16 says "whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  Knowing you are truly forgiven by God, you are able to forgive others (Matthew 6: 14-15).

* Who Jesus truly is:  The God of the Old Testament came down and He was called Jesus.  Isaiah 9: 6 says "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."  The person that died on the cross for our sins was not just anyone, but "The mighty God'.  The same person that is God the Father, became God the Son, and He is also God of the Spirit.  He is the Lord Jesus Christ.

* Fruits of the Spirit and Gifts of the Spirit:  There are nine fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23), with the fruit of Love being the capstone fruit.  There are also nine gifts of the Spirit (I Corinthians 12: 8-10), including the power gifts of faith, healings and the working of miracles.

* God's Foreknowledge:  Ephesians 1: 4 says "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world."  God told Jeremiah, in Jeremiah 1: 5, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee".  The Lord already knows all things.  No bird falls to the ground without His pre-approval; the very hairs of our heads are all numbered (Matthew 10: 29-30).  The Lord "worketh all things after the counsel of his own will" (Ephesians 1: 11).  Ecclesiastes 3: 1 says "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven".  Knowing the greatness of our God creates faith.

* Life Hereafter:  2 Corinthians 5: 8 says "to be absent from the body" is "to be present with the Lord."  Jesus said in John 11: 25-26 "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die".

* The end-time revival:  There is a revival still coming - the harvest work, just before the rapture.  Romans 9: 28 says "For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth."  Jesus stated in John 14: 12 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do".  This revival will be based on knowing who Jesus truly is.

* The Nearness of the coming of the Lord:  This is the end-time.  According to the Bible, the coming of the Lord indeed draweth nigh.  Revelation 10: 6 says "there should be time no longer".

We also want to thank God for the scrolls and other literature from Evangelist Neal Frisby.  This was a man used by God to bring forth many truths from the Bible.  Many healings and miracles were wrought through him.  God gave him the gift of prophecy.  Pictures of the glory of the Lord were associated with his ministry.
